My mom still works out to the Cher VHS.
I seriously do this when I work out. Wearing crews like this instead of quarters is better for sweat absorption and keeps your feet drier. Function over form.Style now is crew socks scrunched down?

Pair #1 just touched down and I gotta say that this is the happiest I've been w/ a retro in a minute. These things are just beauties. 2 pairs are secured, and a third may be necessary, which is something I never do anymore. They're that good. 
I got my TTS 11 and usual Nike runner half-size up, and I prefer the 11.5. I could make the 11 work, but they're just a tad too snug for my liking. So I guess it all depends on how you like your shoes to feel on-foot.

Toebox material makes a noise with each step. Almost like a hollow popping sound. One that loosens up I’m thinking that will go away.
