where you located? i remember walkin into footlocker at like 11am and they were still avail. These are sentimental to me. My wife gifted me the Mars on July 22, 2006 as a wedding gift from her to me. She got up must have been at least 5 am to wait in line to ensure I got these. Receipt shows purchase at 7:08 am for $115........fast forward to 2020, I had to get these because I know my Mars were close to breaking down and crumbling eventually.
Yup, they definitely dig into heels, one of the things I hate about retro IVs.These are damn near unwearable with ankle socks thanks to that heel-tab sticking up like a sore thumb digging into my skin. Gotta rock knee socks and tuck them in from the back. lol wtf $200 for the most uncomfortable shoe ever.
Can you tell us if the OG were as heavy as the retro please? because i can't believe MJ played with heavy shoes in this era. The 8 were really known to be heavy and hot, i can believe it and i had the 8 when i was young and yes there were a little heavy, but the 4 were mid cut or low cut and must be really light and lighter than the 6 or the 8 or the 5.These are damn near unwearable with ankle socks thanks to that heel-tab sticking up like a sore thumb digging into my skin. Gotta rock knee socks and tuck them in from the back. lol wtf $200 for the most uncomfortable shoe ever.

I end up rocking them with quarter socks.Yup, they definitely dig into heels, one of the things I hate about retro IVs.
