My pairs came looking pretty good. No complaints...

Forgot I got the PSGs....It's hilarious. Unlike the FRs, where you have to go back and forth comparing to others (like I noted above) to determine if they're soft or not, with the PSGs you can just touch them on their own and know "these are soft"....heh. FRs look amazing and have the history, and I'll always prefer that colorway, however, the PSGs have amazing construction and materials; so happy I decided to get them. I'm not one for paying resell, and definitely not interested in hyped shoes. PSGs were not hyped, and were not very much over retail though. Prices on these will definitely rise over time, so if you're thinking of getting them, I'd go for it now before the happens as everyone is so focussed on holiday releases.

PSG IV is definitely better, no doubt about that. That one is a MUST.

Delivery day!

They aren’t perfect, but I’m happy. I picked up the flight nostalgia 4’s last year and was so disappointed with the shape, toe box, tongue, fit, (everything) that I almost didn’t order the fire reds, but these are in my top 3 so I couldn’t pass with NA branding.

Left shoe is near perfect, right toe box has a slight crinkle when I step, but hardly noticeable. Compared to the flight nostalgia’s, this is a completely different shoe. Lines are greatly improved. Much tighter across the forefoot (in a good way). The heel slope is drastically different and the fire reds feel about a full size smaller than the flight nostalgia 4’s, which is good because those things fit like some sloppy Vans.

Much different shoe compared to the 2006 Mars 4’s as well. The soles are about 1/8 inch wider in the forefoot on the 06’s, these are definitely a snugger fit than those.

I doubt these will see much wear, and I’m happy with the improved geometry so I’ll take that as a win.
