Nike Air Jordan Retro 3 OG “Fire Red” 2022

These are 1/2 I had to cop this year. If you pass on these

I’ve never even seen a photo of the soles crumbled, if anyone can show me I’d love to know if it’s possible

Also hope the new white cements sit at retail like these

I'll try to dig one up. They don't crumble so much as they crack and break.

EDIT: Now, granted, these have been completely abused, but the point still stands. If they are stored poorly (for a longass time), the rubber on the soles will dry out and crack when flexed.

For wide footers like me half size up is the way to go for added breathability, that tongue is well padded

I don’t mind the thick@ss elephant print on 3s these days. Helps my 2011 WC3s look more legitimate lol. Tried to get them priced at some local consignment shops a while back and some deadass refused them just because “some of the lines are too thick” like wtf

Got these out and in the rotation. Final conclusion is this is a fantastic release....truly amazing. In the Complex video of the OG Jordans, you can see how all over the place the shape and details were back then. Look at the height of the BC vs. the WC 3s. BCs are EXTREMELY high at the back (collar space above the back tab), compared to the WC, which look pretty damn close to what we got on these FRs.

Materials back then were definitely better, but shape, consistency, and overall craftsmanship were all over the place.
