I learned my lesson with TB3's 2016 and BC 3's 2018 and felt snug. I went a half size up on these and they feel a bit better, but a bit longer. No big deal, I ain't balling with them.

Got my second pair from hibbett finally... I'm glad I got two pairs because I was able to take 1 shoe from each pair and keep that and wear it while the other will be kept on ice

one left shoe is perfect shape but the toe box looks a tiny bit more narrow than the other left shoe thats shape is ok

i got decide between comfort or looks

EP height is only one factor

There’s other specs and features that are just as important.

With the 4 examples you provided, I would choose DSG left, followed by Champs left. Hibbetts left has a curved midsole and Flight Club left looks like they constructed too low

Every time I buy a pair of shoes, no matter what they are my girls says, “ don’t you have those already?” It never fails.

But as far a defects, I realized 20 years ago that we aren’t buying $200 shoes, we are paying $200 for $15 shoes. It’s for the love of the game I guess.

one of the pairs the right shoe was heavily creased... Im not big on nitpicking on creases but thats unacceptable for a brand new shoe...

got a weird texture on the toebox of one pair. Just the right shoe. That pair also happens to have the nicer EP height though. Pretty much stopped trying to buy 4-5 pairs just to find the perfect pair as I was tired of putting that much energy into it. Lol

Which is exactly why I won’t tolerate anything beyond very small defects/blemishes/etc. If I get a pair with something on it that’s going to bother me, it has to go. We’re already getting bent over on the retail prices, so I’m not nor have I ever accepted just whatever trash is inside any given shoebox when I open it for the first time.

They are just shoes people. I opened my box to make sure I received the right size in store, that’s it.
