I have the 2018 BC3s, While I LOVE the new FR3 toebox, the shoe itself feels a lot longer than the BC3. I think I could have gone .5 size down in these. Either way, it's a great release and i'm glad to have a pair for retail.

They feel like that compared to BC3 because there’s a lot less padding around the heel and ankle area. It was excessive in 2018.

Can't speak to the Black Cements, but they definitely fit bigger compared to the Georgetowns and the Racer Blues. Those fit me perfect in a size 11.5.

Whether that's because of less padding in the heel area, I couldn't say.

...but the Fire Reds were like wearing 747s for shoes.
