IIRC the '18 BC's had people (rightfully) heavily nitpicking them back when we got an official reveal but in recent times they've been getting bashed even more harshly due to hindsight. It didn't help that the Red Cements which came out shortly after had all the improvements that the Black Cements should have had from the jump. Lower EP, sleeker toe box, sock line tucked behind the tongue, etc. Quality check was also very inconsistent. There were nice looking pairs like yours and then there were pairs that looked like Shaqcement 3s you could find at Walmart.Ppl saying '18s are "hot garbage" definitely over exaggerating. Umm I’ve had CDPs (horrible paint days) and the super shiny 2011s(plastic leather/horrible paint days). 2018s are Leaps and bounds better, with the addition of NA on the heel.

Had 2011 true blues and again horrible paint/leather. Even with the issues 2016s had they are still better, plus they have that NA on the heel.
