Totally agree with you, 98's are often on sales plus I prefer to buy them from Nike.fr than to JD.fr because of damaged boxes...

Dope... I should've picked up a pair of these when Nike had them on sale.I’ll never be able to choose between the 97s and 98s. I have more 97s than 98s, but that’s because 98s aren’t on Nikeid!

In my opinion 97's are very elegant while 98's really look like what they are, sneakers + ultra comfortable, different shoes for different situations I guess

I don't typically have this opinion, but this is the worst 98 and actually is worse than in person than in photos. I actually would say pass on these at any price.

This is exactly how i think about it. They took the 95 and 97 and just iterated a new version combinining the two with some other new ideas. This is why i love the 98! Its almost like they were trying to perfect the balance of the design.

I know I'm going to catch hell but the worst to me is the OG Michigan colorway. I've despised those since 1998 when they first came out lol. I know people love them but they aren't for me.

Agreed, the balance of color on this iteration is fantastic, i wish i got to wear mine more, but what can you do when you have 40 AM98's to choose from in the morning lol
