Nike Air Max Hyperposite, New $225 Foamposite Shoe in 2012

Anyone know where I could find a pair of Amare 10.5/11? Tried tweeting NDC but they said it wasn't at any Nike store.

If I'm able to get the pink I'll do Green laces on one foot and gray laces on the other so I can have a Boston Beach V2 :hat :smokin :hat :smokin :hat :smokin

Hey bigj, i know youre local and were looking for 72 hyperposites. Kickkspott in Georgetown got a sz10. Youre a 10.5 though i think, but if you can make it work... Just a heads up

Thanks man. I'm more of a 9.5/10 so they would be just fine for me. Saving cash for now tho. Area72s didn't really blow me away when I saw them in person a few months ago to be honest.

The real question is: Do you think there will be a hyperposite 13

I don't have any concrete info, but I can see the Hyperposite line continuing.

They may not say "2013" on the shoe, but I do see more releases down the road...

Nike should keep the line alive, but for $225, they should drop more colorways but limit the number of pairs released... IMO.

Fav has to be fireberries. Miss my pair. Bhm is still the fav pair I got my hands on doe.

It would seem that instead of there being a Hyperposite 2013, the original Hyperposite is simply getting a second year of releases. Which is a smart move on Nike's part IMO. It took a while for the Hyperposite to begin to build a following. Most of the general releases ended up on clearance, but the limited releases sold quickly. Nike's "big man" shoe is never a big seller anyway, so why does there need to be a new model every season? By giving the Hyperposite another season, it's slowly transforming from flop to cult favorite. Maybe by next season it will be time to drop a Hyperposite II.

Looking at all of the announced 2013-2014 Nike Basketball models, it doesn't seem any shoe comes close to delivering the tech I look for the way the Hyperposite does. So even if the Hyperposite didn't return with new colorways for this season, I probably would have just been hunting down old colorways on ebay so I'd have shoes to play basketball in for the next year.

Yes, the $225 price sucks, but I normally only get 3 months of playing time out of my LeBrons and my Hyperposites have been lasting me six months. So if I don't have to buy new shoes as often, it's easier to justify the price tag. Not to mention no other shoe comes even close to performing as well on the court as the Hyperposite does. I say that as a big man who plays a big man game. Smaller players I'm sure may prefer other models.
