I have a pair of Streak 6 and ZF for faster runs, would the upcoming 35 Turbo be redundant or could it be used for slower paced runs?

I wouldn't use them except for unidirectional plyometrics (like how you'd warm up for track). For a Nike running shoe for that stuff, I'd probably go for the Run Swift. It has Cushion like the Pegasus, but no Zoom Air. That said, I've seen some sprinters lifting in the Pegasus 34s, but I wouldn't go crazy.
The React foam is far too soft for lifting.

I've gotten pretty good a spotting fakes over the yrs in photos, and I feel these up here are the real deal. Just my opinion.

The turbo is designed as a training shoe aimed at people like you. It isn't as stiff as the streak and zf, so works well for slow runs.

I think the stripe takes the place of upper material where it is on the toebox to shave off weight.
Or maybe Nike is doing runners a solid by trying to make it a little ugly so hypebeats don't make them sell out as fast, idk

I don't get the hate for the stripe. It evokes a racing stripe, like on a muscle car or the Ford GT. You're wearing these for running, right? So who cares? You'll only be looking ahead, not down.

I get the concept and all. However, when I purchase a shoe, ANY shoe, I always consider its aesthetics and colorway. IMO, the stripe on these is not a good look.
It’s a placebo effect of some sort for me, but from my experience... I purchased a pair of Zoom Fly’s in the Black/White cw for a steal ~$50 at the time. I’m not one to purchase B/W running shoes. I’d much prefer a shoe with a bright cw or at least accents. I wore them to RUN in. However, after 4-5 runs, I felt I didn’t perform as well in them, so I returned them.
A few days later, I spotted a deal on eBay for the Ice Blue cw. I purchased, and they later became my daily trainer for about three months. Same exact size. Same exact shoe. The only difference was the cw/colorblocking. To me, aesthetics makes a difference.

I like the stripe, but I think the thing that kills it for many people about the stripe is that it was [more] fitting on the prototype/wear-test version. It fit well with the look that it had. This upcoming one, I'm not complaining at all. I want to get back to doing speed/track intervals, and this shoe may be it.

Y’all crazy. The stripe is nice. Looks like Nike actually took some time to design something appealing. Pegs usually have a bargain bin look to them.

Is the whole midsole zoomX or just the heel? I’d assume the midsole would look “wrinkle” with zoomX.

I think they could do some really cool things with contrasting colors. The giant swoosh is reminiscent of superhero insignias, so having a blue shoe with a red stripe could evoke Superman or Captain America, black with yellow stripe would be like Batman, etc. They wouldn't even have to take direct influence from existing characters. Certain color combos just give off a superhero vibe.

would love a deep royal Peg Turbo with a black swoosh akin to the vapor streets.
it's a shame that the translucent uppers on the purported colourways we've seen so far seem to lack vibrancy in the same way that the zoom fly sp's do.

Wanted to wait for Turbo, but got the 35 for $72 at the EE store yesterday. Can’t wait to run in them.

The outsole is very reminiscent of the FKRs. Aesthetically, the regular P35s look a lot better, IMO. I just hope that they put the Turbos on iD, so we can make a stripe-less version or at least blend it in with the rest of the upper.

From the sounds of it, these are gonna be limited like the VF4% due to the ZoomX, so I wouldn’t count on seeing them on clearance or iD

They should have done a better job of blending the stripe in at least. It just looks strange since it's a different material than the rest of the upper.
