That fake Carbon Fiber print is off putting and the "Yeezy" CW is so played out, also wish they'd done something besides a black swoosh on a black upper.

Yeah - that release was some madness.

Dudes basically had to make their purchase with police escorts and then were supervised out into cabs.

I didn't even bother. That release was one of the turning points in the hobby - a glimpse into the idiocy that was to come.

exactly and the only other shoe to cause that much madness was the galaxy foams , these dont even compare to those in looks nor will the hype be as high

Unfortunately (from those initial photos anyway) it's the same weave they used on the Flightposite retro.  

well that's better than what i thought it was, which is a print/wrap.

I touched on this in the Flightposite-Carbon thread, but it was always gonna be a print/wrap as they obviously couldn't use real carbon fiber.  

The issue was always the pattern/weave that was used.  The Plain weave vs. the Twill weave.  

It looked bad on the Flightposites... it looks bad on these.  Such a shame.

for some reason, I don't think it looks as bad on these as the flightposite 1s. then again, they messed up more than just the finish on those shoes :x
I am curious tho why they would go this route vs the route gone on the Miami Night XIs. the cf is certainly fake but its not terrible to me.

Wish they'd drop an all CF Foamposite One with a black ice sole. I'd sell off a good amount of my closet and literally buy over 10 pairs. These will be copped but I'll probably start up a project to dye the pink liner all black...
