NIKE+ FUELBAND --- Nike's Big Announcement (1/19/12)

Since you can only cop these in NYC retail is $162.44 after tax.. and between Metrocards and tolls you're gonna drop an average of like $9-15 to get there.. so if someone offers you one at $185 that's basically retail unless they copped online.. just figured I'd say that so people don't think that people selling them for 185 is a come up.  Also Larges are MAD BIG.. almost everyone is a Medium or Small.. don't get caught up in the "you need a large" hype
 
ANDDD stop hating on these.. it isn't a personal trainer.. it won't yell at you to stop being lazy.. but any one with ANY type of motivation or competitive personality will benefit greatly from one..

It underestimates the amount of effort you are putting in.. like my 2hr lifts get less points than a 20 minute shoot around..
 
I'm looking forward to the sneaker version of these.. Nike+ Basketball or something.. I saw it somewhere. Of course now I can't remember.
 
I picked up one on Thurs at SX. I'd say a medium fits just about any male who wears a 7-8" bracelet comfortably.

It won't make your get active but, as stated, it will give you a reminder to get up and do something.
 
My girl got one for me as a bday gift, and I am loving it so far. I had to try it out, and see how many calories I burned smashing

Has anyone having problems with the Facebook Nike+ missions app? My fuel band will sync with my iPhone app and on the Nike+ website but won't work with the Facebook app even thought it says it is synced with it. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks for the help!
 
I WORK 10MIN FROM 21MERCER...I GOT ONE FOR A FELLOW NT'ER AND NOW IM MAD I DIDN'T GET A SECOND ONE. I GUESS MY HESITATION IS I DON'T OWN AN IPHONE...YET...SO I FEEL IT WOULD BE A WASTE HOPEFULLY WHEN I GET MY IPHONE IN MAY THESE WILL BE MORE AVAILABLE AND I WONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT LINE @ 21MERCER...FOR 2 REASONS..

1. DUDES BE LEAVING WITH LIKE 4 OR 5 BANDS SO THAT WHOLE 1/CSR THING IS A FRAUD AND...

2. THE WORKERS @ 21MERCER ACT LIKE THAT PLACE IS A HANGOUT FOR HYPEBEASTS AND WHEN YOU WALK IN AND ASK A QUESTION YOU ARE DISTURBING THEM WHILE THEY SIT ON THEIR LIL STOOP AND CHILL.

I picked one up today at Nt nyc but they told me in the next few months more niketowns with get them. At least they aren't selling out like they were at first. If you have a connect in nyc they should be able to get one for you without having to line up early. Also bigsupa there is an android app coming out this summer for the fuel band

Sup NT, This is the latest installment of NT+ Challenges. It is another TEAM DISTANCE RACE, and the goal is to accumulate 8000 MILES as a TEAM before the other. However, this time we're only going to have TWO TEAMS. The FIRST TEAM to run 8000mi takes home the DIGITAL TROPHY! CHALLENGERS will select their TEAM according to their respective birthMONTH. All running levels are welcome! #makeitcount!

It kind of depends on what you do. You don't have to be a runner (I'm not) to benefit. As I wrote, it made me want to do a little more once I realized how inactive some of my days can be, so it's a good motivator.

Water-proof - No

Sweat and a splash of water is ok but it cant be submerged.
 
Anyone aware of retail spots near them or that they have seen with these available?  At this point, I'd rather my kid get one of these than a friggin' Ipod, as maybe it will encourage him to be more active unlike all the handheld electronics these days.
