I met Virgil at the Yeezus pop up shop in NYC. I had no idea who he was, but I was texting my friend asking if he wanted anything from the pop up and he said Virgil was there and I said who? and he said the dude with the big milk dud head, kanye's "stylist"

Get her a duffle bag. It’s awesome for trips, it patinas really nicely and it’s one of the few items that will look good on you if you ever wanna “borrow” - it’s also a good value relative to other, smaller bags. I always reco classic pieces to my firends in a similar situation (the Chanel flap jumbo is also dope, although exclusively for her - it’s a classic that never goes out of style). Can’t go wrong w a monogram duffle. I know you didn’t ask for it, but that’s my 2 cents

Always appreciate the input from you sir. I was debating some hard luggage but neither of us travels enough to warrant it. Duffle/carryall is much more practical. Think I got obsessed with the hard luggage after the LV pop up last winter and seeing all of the classic pieces. Let me know when you want to throw me the LV hook up


Thinking there will eventually be a LV x OW crossover collection. If Kim Jones could do it with supreme how could Virgil not do a collection with his own brand. Would have to see it all before I'd be interested in anything obviously but would be cool to see what he could do with the bags and accessories.

NT fam, need help authenticating the 2018 Vapormax.
I have two pairs that are slightly different.

From the pictures, you can see that on the right shoe the front piece suede point does not match up with the mesh the same way it does on the left.
Also, on the right shoe the A is slightly raised in "AIR".
Finally, the font on the insoles is different. The right has a wider font.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Saw some guys at a table today with off white 90s and the black vapormax 2s on. Made me realize I'm good without the blacks to complete the vm 2 set. But now my itch for the 90s is at an all time high.

Bout to just hit sell on a couple of shoes and grab them by Friday. Have like $400 in GOAT credit now already.

They look good. All of the visual check points are there. I can't feel the zip tie tag or orange tag for you obviously but everything seems to check out. The triangles on the insole should be raised and the toe box should have several different knit patterns and feel to them. You'll feel what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the reply! What's throwing me off is that the zip tie on this og pair compared to my ow vapormax "white" pair have a different shade of red but the texture of the zip is the same. Also the colour of the EU stickers for both have a different shade of purple...just being paranoid cuz fake shoes these days are getting really good...

My only concern with buying the 90’s is the yellowing that occurs with the foam and the materials of the shoe. I’ve seen pics of used pairs on goat and they seem to crease badly which loses the shape of the shoe. So I’m still on the fence due to its longevity

Yellowing happens super fast but the creasing is not bad I’ve been beating mine to the ground and I like them more now then when new but that’s just me
