And you never thought any of the countless colorways of the model before this one were nice? Are you going to pick up other colorways? Or the only colorway you like in the history if the model just happens to be the one with hype around it?

I'm not knocking it. I'm guilty of it too. The first Spiridon I ever bought was bc it was Parra and a pack with the AM1. Just be honest with yourself about it. That's all I'm saying.

That's kind of an unfair assertion to make especially when a lot of people didn't know that this model existed b4 ow collab. This year Bodega dropped their 997s collab. I wasn't on that model or even aware of it until bodega gave their take on it. Collaboration's have a history of being hyped b/c they shed a different and unique light on the shoe. Sometimes that collab is the only shoe u like from that model, and sometimes the hype comes out of nowhere like with the Bodega 997s. Imo the Terra Kigers are a boring shoe that Virgil made interesting.

Yea those and Mentas are heavy in my rotation. I’m not typically out too long so they don’t bother me as much. For long treks or theme parks I always bust out Racers.

I’d say the uppers hold up hella well and the soles are kinda garbage for durability, haven’t owned many react shoes but this falls apart super easy, actually hiked in them for a week and ****ed up the plastic area and now it stabs my foot, returning to Nike and wearing another pair casually.

Dang, yours look good. My pair has yellowed pretty badly.

What sucks is when the pair was new and white, it wasn’t too comfortable. Now it’s finally broken in and much more comfortable imo, but it’s yellow! I still like them, but wish they looked new.

I’ll play my own game since we don’t have enough pics. I know people been asking how beat/yellow my white prestos are. Here’s a comparison shot

its getting near the time for me to toss my worn pair into the washer again. I usually wait till it gets dirtier and when it comes out the washer, the mesh is white again
