Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

I do love Nike for putting the react foam in there though because they know damn well we would have paid $180 with the same rubber they used on the zoomfly

wouldn't be surprised if they had originally planned to have react ont eh zoomfly but it wasn't ready to be introduced so I wouldn't be surprised if next years version has it

Damn, Nike definitely does not give us any break with releases after releases. Still trying to recover from AJ3 BC, and now this, React, Bred Toe, then FKT black/white :emoji_fearful:

This. For me, it's gonna be the BW FKTs, Safari87s and that Grey/Tan VSF (if they release). :smh:

threads picked up alot today. I see hype is building on these, hopefully I can grab my size.

I wouldn't really say that it's hype. It's just that we've seen pictures and early Japan/overseas releases of these, and we've been dying to find out how they fit and what type of cushioning it is for a long time.

im just expecting this release to go the same way as the very first SP reease, which sold pretty quickly.

someone just posted it in the react thread

On behalf of the entire NikeTalk community, I'm compelled to ask you to please tell us moar.

Like I stated before, someone on insta who owns the Vapor streets says: "Fits wider than Vaporflys. Length is TTS. I have wide feet and TTS fits okay"

Oh no, I know that. I meant to ask you why/how it was underwhelming. Like, was it the lack of comfort, short of expectations, etc? Sorry for the confusion.

I was interested in the Epic Reacts due to the React cushioning but due to multiple reviews of the soles not holding up, I’m thinking these Vaporstreets may be the way to go as it seems like there’s a little more coating.

The overall design of the Vaporstreets is more attractive to me than the Epic Reacts, but I guess one is for leisure wear and the other for more active wear. They should make World Cup versions of these.

I'll need reviews on how comfortable these Vapor Streets are for casual wear. I PR'd in a 10K and Half with the Zoom Flys but would never wear them casually.

So I ended up copping the Vapor Street size 9.5 since they have the react technology.

Size wise, I take a 9.5 in the zoom fly sp and these are a tad longer. The react midsole feels nice but not as soft or springy as the Epic React. The arch area is similar to the Flyknit Racer, very narrow. Hope this helps.

You a 9.5 in the Epic Reacts too?

So does anyone have any info on the release dates on these two?

I don't have any info nor have I found any. If you want to continue searching, running warehouse has the 360 page of these colorways titled as:

Nike Zoom Fly Obsidian/White/Indigo:
http://www.runningwarehouse.com/360view.html?pcode=NIV34M8
http://img.runningwarehouse.com/watermark/rs.php?path=NIV34M8-1.jpg

Nike Zoom Fly Gunsmoke/Crimson/Grey:
http://www.runningwarehouse.com/360view.html?pcode=NIV34M6

There's also a new colorway for which there is a 360 page for but no images. It's titled:

Nike Zoom Fly White/Black/Pure Platinum:
http://www.runningwarehouse.com/360view.html?pcode=NIV34M7

So there looks to be another colorway which might come out along with these other two, just no clues as to when. Maybe that last one is the colorway which has the black upper and the white tongue?

Vapor streets look nice. I just have too many all black shoes. Hope they come out as a GR in more colors
