Can’t believe Super Mario Odyssey released in 2017. Game doesn’t feel that old at all. Would love for them to announce Odyssey 2 at the next direct. There’s still a lot of creative kingdoms they could do for the sequel
the game is unbelievably entertaining and fun. my son have it on repeat, but he somehow lost interest when he lost all his progress. also, love the Cappy hat.

For those in here who play Mario Strikers, I got a club that finished #103, #24 the first couple seasons and a discord with like 15 members if anyone is interested dm me! Game is pretty dead and lacking in content greatly but pretty fun with a solid group especially in voice chat

We’re a bunch of casuals btw so all skill levels welcome lol

Did you ever sign up online? If so you might have had autosaving to the cloud on default and his progress might still be able to be downloaded back onto the system.

problem was, it wasn't saved and his progress was left in the old console and forgot to transfer it before we have it replaced. he was playing and grinding the game for 2 years and was a bit upset on losing his accomplishments. mistake was I didn't signed him online.

Almost at the end of my Zelda run ….
Breath of the wild was a huge miss. So much potential. Story line sucks so far. Don’t like the idea of weapons constantly breaking. Voice acting was Low Level Disney bad. Hopefully they fix this in BOTW2.

Skyward sword caught me off guard how good it was. It started slow but picked up

Wasn’t the biggest fan either. Honestly was disappointed they decided to go with a sequel rather than go in a different direction.

I never was a big gamer growing up and something that appealed to me about Zelda was the storyline at the time.

This was sorely missing in this iteration.
This felt like World of War Craft and a Grand Theft Auto hybrid.

I’m on the Second beast now and I feel no connection to the story line or any of the characters.

Yeah BOTW is light on the storytelling and more geared toward exploration and figuring it out yourself. Hoping they improve that in BOTW2. More story + classic Zelda dungeons while still being open world would be a nice recipe.

I thought this was the direction they were going to go. Unfortunately it never panned out.

Breath of the Wild a disappointment.

Sure, and next you'll tell me Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze isn't Nintendo's best platformer.

I still don’t see why BoTW is held in such high regard either but at this point, I’ve just accepted that I’m in the minority and usually am when it comes to certain trends. I was told Persona 5 has great combat even though prior to its release everyone was tired of turn based combat :ohwell:

I don’t think BoTW is a bad game either, just don’t think it’s as revolutionary as some will claim.

DKC: TF is the best Wii U/Switch platformer. Super Mario World is still the GOAT platformer overall!

Super Mario World is the GOAT. The hype yall built up for tropical freeze didn’t match the game even though it’s still very good.

Hot take: If tropical freeze was developed in Japan, more people would say it's the GOAT.

SMW is amazing. 10 out of 10.
Is there really a bias because it wasn’t developed in Japan??? Tropical freeze is amazing to me. Tf and super meat boy are my favorite modern platformers but mega man x is my goat. Dkc2 >>> SMW both 10/10 tho.
