What type of charging cable is it for the gamepad?
I'm trying to get my hands on a used wii u, which only comes with the controller and nothing else.
I'm trying to figure out what accessories I need to buy.

I want to say all the connections are proprietary. For the gamepad, one end is an AC adapter, the other end looks like....
There's no USB connection included for the gamepad.

I should be starting the process of getting a stand alone wii u tonight.
The wii u will only come with a gamepad.
What accessories that are missing do I need to purchase?
Also what complementary accessories do you gentlemen recoomend?
Lastly, can you plug in a 3.5mm earphones into the gamepad?

Picked up my copy of Smash, need that adapter badly, Wii U gamepad is terribad.
One thing I really love about the Wii U is the portability of it. I took an 8 hour drive for thanksgiving and was able to play Wii U in the car. Get you one of these and you're money. Plus Smash is one of those games where two people can use the gamepad screen and play, my little brother was on the gamepad and I was using the Wii remote with little discomfort
