Captain Toad getting good reviews

Captain toad is at 80 on metacritic. It looks like another high quality Nintendo game. I kind if like things when they have their back against the wall haha. They just seem like they are in "**** it" mode and ping with a lot of ideas.

Seems like the perfect game to change the pace with.

 Some points from the video:

Nintendo abdoned hardcore gamers with their wii. Now they want hardcore gamers to flock to their wii u.

The wii u is not profitable and is arragont about it's gamepad being bundled with the console.

Dropping the gamepad(not entirely) to make the console cheaper.

Lack of 3rd party support.

The wii u is surviving on nintendo's 1st party support.

Lots of great wii u exclusives.

I've been researching the hell out of the wii u and it does so much stuff that I was unaware of.

I mainly bought one for super smash bros. and the other exclusives.

I don't understand why 3rd party games are more expensive on the wii u, but nintendo gonna nintendo.

I'm patentily waiting for my cables/console to arrive, so I can experience this new smash bros.

Finally beat superstar saga. Quality game and I'm suprised I got to the finish considering I don't generally like turn based RPG. I guess it's because you still had to dodge and press buttons at a certain time each turn. Also it was just really fun to see Mario as an RPG. But I'd be lying if I said that **** didn't start to drag on. I put like 20 hours in not included times I didn't save. I'm glad that a lot of games othe virtual console allow you to save at any time because I would never see the ending to games like this or mega man


Also the bosses in DKTF are driving me nuts. And no save wherever function there lols. Finally beat the second boss the **** was driving me nuts. That game is no joke but t never feels like the CPU is being "cheap".

I'm gonna be furious when all the complaining about the gamepad leads to them not doing it again. I play off screen 90% of the time. Only play otv when it's local games like kart.

Can't remember the last time I walked Ito a store and they didn't have the game I want, but I was at the best buy by grand central in NYC and they were sold out of smash. I was shocked.

This Friday is the video game awards. Nintendo is advertising it on its youtube channel. I wonder what they'll show off, I'm not gonna get too hyped like I did last year only to be disappointed that their big reveal was Cranky Kong.

At this rate, they'll show off Captain Toad gameplay but part of me really wants them to show of some Xenoblade or something aimed at the target audience for the award show.
