@Suberzat1 pretty much with amiibos you get to do different trial things, just looks like something you can pick up and play for a few hours and not feel it

Not ready to pull the trigger on Wii U just yet. I hear sales are terrible and I will have to see what E3 holds and perhaps a black friday markdown will help the cause. Just wish I didnt have to use that gamepad thing, not nearly as bad as the Wii mote but still. Also didn't know about Project M till now so I can hold myself over with brawl/project M till a wii u price drop. Super Smash, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Bayonetta 2, Zelda, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D world, Hyrule Warriors, mario maker, fire emblem etc. the Wii U looks to have a great line up now/ahead , can't say I'm looking forward to much on the PS4 right now.
reminds me of the dreamcast a bit in terms of quality exclusives but not much love in the time being. Can see this console being viewed at similarly to dreamcast in the future

Wii U is having terrible sales, limited quantity of games and they dont even make big multiplats for it or even sports games like wwe or 2k etc. anymore. They've got to do something to combat this. If they made the gamepad optional and dropped the price down even more I could see more sales on consoles as well as more developers getting on board because theyd have an easier time making games for it without having to utulize the gamepad
Nintendo shot themselves in the foot with the Wii. They turned their backs on the gamers and focused more so on pleasing aunts uncles, grandmas etc. Yes it had great sales but those customers aren't coming back for the wii u that audience is over it already.

You can get on of these Refurbished ones. I got a Refurbished one last year and its damn near brand new, seem like its just overstock they couldnt sell.

Dude look what they are going up against and the type of "gamers" that are out now. I dont have a problem with the gamepad and how some games use the gamepad. Works well with adventure games where you can look down and see your inventory.
Maybe they was pleasing kids than other family members but I enjoy my Wii U. There still isnt a game on Xbox1 or PS4 that I have to run out and purchase the system. Uncharted 4 was that game for me but it got pushed back. Also I can play Far Cry 4 and Witcher 3 on PC. GTA 5 and Last of Us I was able to play on PS3.
Shoot PS4 shot themselves in the foot with not making the system backwards compatible cause I would have been copped the PS4

The gamepad is necessary to use the console.
The gamepad is tied to the console. You can't do several things without using the gamepad such as changing settings.
Everytime your console turns on, your gamepad turns on. You can't turn it off, without also turning off your wiiu.
Nintendo hasn't released info about NX, so all the info that's out is just speculation.
Maybe it's a HD-3DS? Could be wrong.
