i used to think he was spewing gibberish too, i think his delivery doesn't necessarily invite you to pay attention to his words. 
but honestly, i was going through some rough times recently and i started reading his lyrics and it was like dude was literally inside my head with everything he was saying. this entire album, i feel like i know exactly what his mindstate was like while creating it. so it kinda took on a new meaning for me
