Mojo I'm trying your theory out and taking Duke -3 first half line. Hopefully it works.

EDIT-

. Solid play. Now I got K-State +1 in the second half. I think this game will tighten up in the second half only to have Duke pull away at the end by 6-8 points.

damn i took a beating on that MSU game yesterday.  My buddy was tryin to talk me out of it too (both the full game and 2H bets).  I'm not even looking at another MSU game until January.

A lot of the college lines aren't out, but I am looking at Kentucky -4.5

And Utah at home against New Orleans -3.5

Miami +5 against Orlando too

What do you guys think of the Celtics -11.5 vs the nets. The Celtics are coming off a day of rest and are at home while the Nets had a semi-tough time last night against the Hawks. The night before the C's beat down the Hawks. So I don't know what to make of this. I want to pull the trigger on the Celtics. Also no Rondo. Any input?

First thing first.  Don't try and use the A+B=C junk in the NBA or in most sports betting for that matter.  What one team did to a different team at a different time on a different court has zero effect on what will happen in another game.  With that being said I think this spread is pretty on.  I don't like to bet aginst the Celtics at home but I've also thought that the Nets will have a decent amount of value this years especially early in the year.  Celtics should win fairly easily but by more than 12 I'm not so sure so I guess I would lean Nets plus the points.  I really think the best play in this game is over the total of 188-189.  Good luck which ever way you choose.

Thanks for the input. I might make a play on the over. But when I brought up the Hawks, I was thinking more so along the lines that the C's beat down the Hawks. Then the Nets caught them on the 2nd leg of a back, where they let the Hawks keepthe score pretty close. I didn't get the chance to watch the game but I kept looking at it. I don't know maybe still falls along the lines of A+B=C logic, but it should figure to work. Cuz yeah I would the Celtics win easily but the question would be by how much? I think I'm just going to hold off of the game. Either way tho, thanks again for your input.
