You mean ubers leasing program? Yes total scam. Thought they discontinued it. You can pickup a Towncar pretty cheap, and they run forever, cheap to maintain, only thing is gas mileage is not terrible, but not good either... pretty sure you can drive select/black still with it (I'd check with uber first) you'll make real good money doing select, or black. You might not get that many trips, it depends on your market, but when you get one it's worth it.

Uber black in most cities limit the drivers.
Even a Accord, Altima, Candy will do fine. Good size, reliable and great on gas. Even a Chevy or a Hyundai will do.

Cant go wrong with anything you listed either. Where you at California? They probably do restrict there. Houston is pretty free reign with black, if I had black interior I could have done it, but I have penut butter. I still make good on select though, when I initially signed up I planned on doing black didn't find out until after I signed up it had to be black on black....each market is different though, here in Houston we dont even do pool... city is just too spaced out for it to be useful I think (thank God). I've heard some horror stories with pool, I don't think I'd ever accept a ping, if they ever tried it here.

Boston. Yeah out here they're not taking Uberblack for now. Pool sucks. But they offer you and amount if you hit 65 rides for the weekend. So people do it. Extra 140 for this weekend.

How does that work with quests? Is that even what they call them there?Does each rider in pool count as a separate trip? I might do them if they try it here (which I doubt) I could see it being beneficial when chasing a certain number of rides, but with uber you never know.

In Uber pool each rider you pick up counts as a trip. When the quest says 60+ for the bonus I always hope for pools because it makes a big difference in the time you put in. If the weekend quest is 35-40 I just hope for UberX to maximize the pay.

That's a low payout for 60+ rides.
Ours is 80-160 usually over 100.

Ya I don't have one either, been dancing around getting one but can't seem to make myself (I'm sure we could have a classic NT thread with some of the stuff that goes on in some of these rides, you can't even make this stuff up) when I first started I couldn't believe how many chicks are thirsty for an Uber driver even had one chick tell me smashin' a Uber driver was on her bucket list LOL... super bad too, but super trashed and fell asleep in my car and wouldn't wake up for almost 30 minutes. This isn't my main source of income, so if I don't wanna drive I don't that's what makes this gig so good, but I really should have driven during WS. I made a grip during Superbowl. I'm just ready for NYE, I had a blast last year, and made really good money.

I just kept trying to wake her up...and she finally got up. After about 15 minutes, I was getting a little worried she was gonna wake up and think some kinda perv/rapist. This was when I had just started too... it had me shook for a minute LOL. I swear ol' girl just popped up like a jack in the box, and asked to help spot her car to drive home... I was like WTF why even bother with Uber if you just gonna drive home trashed. The more I drove, the more I see people park like 10 minutes from a club a call an Uber ...only to drive home drunk SMH. I get at least 5 or more of these chicks that do the same thing, every weekend I drive the club scene. Yeah if Uber is your full time job you playing this gig wrong... it mainly supports my sneaker addiction.

LOL I'll keep that in mind, this chick was just soooo bad(probably the baddest I've picked up in the 2 yrs I been driving). I think it was just wishful thinking, but I kept thinking I got a good shot with her & chicks always bug out when their Uber rolls up in a Benz (I guess I wanted to be captain save a oh)... she was so flirtatious until she fell asleep... I was highly disappointed with the way it ended.

How old is it? In Texas they only go back 7 years on your background check...and Uber/Lyft really dont even care...LOL I got a buddy with 2 DUI's driving both Uber/Lyft... but his are over 7 years old.

Didn't pick up anyone too trashed in LA. Was at dodger stadium to start the night and even made a trip to Calabasas. No moves were made on the female front , but they always compliment me on my music selection.

I only ended up driving Monday (couldn't pull myself away from the Astros games) and did 9 trips made about $120. I just spent it all on championship gear too.
I'm gonna catch up on some sleep and get on my grind this weekend.Similar threads
