NT, What Beer Do You Drink?

The oatmeal coffee variant sounds awesome. Reserving judgement on the tea variant, but it sounds weird on paper.

Will be completely unsurprised if the OG is the best of the bunch, yet again.
I cracked open the fog stout and it was just fine. The tea and honey was very subtle imo. But yeah im hoping the oatmeal coffee will be better.

It's obvious here but check the dates. TW released cbs and some KBS a week back as a new release. They almost tricked me. Both were from 2019

Also, they tend to randomly get large drops of bcbs. Only variants I remember seeing were Mon cheri and wheat wine. New drops through at least August from the year prior.

Not sure my area will even get any with last year's still coming in.

The original is awesome. May just get last year's lol.

What all did you get from TH champcruthik champcruthik

I'm a Tired Hands Homer, can't get enough from them. Thankful I have a local there that hooks me up with most requests, and usually splits a 4 pk with me.

Here's what I've been drinking on this month. Anyone that loves a very well done saison, don't sleep on Keeping Together outta Chicago. Averie Swanson, formerly of Jester King, has killed it with the 3 bottles I've tried from her new brewery.

You gotta get your hands on some Side Project. Their wine barrel aged saisons are :pimp:

The wild stuff is usually the first things I look at nowadays whenever I’m placing a Tired Hands order. Saisons/Lakers/pilsners>>>>Hazy IPAs/pastry stouts/Heavily fruited kettle sours

Best time of year for beer. Hoppy holidays brewed with spruce taste like a Christmas tree.
Rogue hazelnut is all time favorite

Have any of the beer bros ( KingJamesTheFifth KingJamesTheFifth ) tried St. Bernardus Christmas Ale?

I've had Prior 8, Tripel, Abt 12 but never this one. Need from Total Wine ASAP.

Made a BCBS run this morning. No lines, everything was still available except Birthday and Annivesary (as expected). Grabbed 2x Original, #4, and Caramela.

Fully expect the Original to be the best with the Caramela being the sleepers as people don't really give barley/wheat wines the chance they deserve. I think Apple Pie coupled with the wheat wine base is as great of a combo as any variant in recent memory.

2018 Vanilla still my GOAT though. I preferred that over Fundamental Observation I had that year

Update: Cracked open the Caramella this evening. Gonna grab a few more bottles when I get a chance

The caramel notes that already exist from the barrel work so well with the caramel notes of the style and the additional caramel added (sensing a theme here). Plus a hint of apple. Man this is a sipper but extremely well done

af1 1982 af1 1982 thoughts on #4? Looks like my area has the original for $13, caramella for $16, Kentucky fog for $24, and #4 for $24. Not sure what to go with.

I got a #4 but have yet to try. Original is necessary every year imo. It is STILL the bar by which BBA stouts are measured at. Still world class, that caramel/toffee character from the barrel is not seen enough in other BBA stouts

I’d grab the Caramella to try if I were you if you like the style. Apple style deserts are my favorite and you really don’t see apples used as an adjunct too often
