Really enjoyed this clown shoes undead imperial stout. Feels like I've been drinking my beers too cold, definitely tasted and enjoyed the flavors more as it sat out at room temp.

I drank just about every beer I could/can as cold as I can get it and for years I did it with beers that had no business being that cold. I've learned a lot and try to let beers like that warm up a bit. Totally different experience.
Small but productive trip. Never had Striaght Jacket and just Got it in while grabbing some more FBS.
man. my beer snob is about to come out.
Bar tender just explained to me that New Belgium Blue Paddle was a sour beer.. ( it's a czech pils btw). I had to look it up on my phone after.
Had another bartender call a "hefe weizen" (heif-a-why-zen) a 'Heifer-weizer'. I guess they're used to Budweiser sounding so close to hefeweizer lol. Think of a female cow, a heifer, and add the end of budweiser, and you'll get what I'm trying to say.
They'll happily take my money on overpriced pints but dont give a crap about knowing what they are selling.
Grabbed a 12 pack of Genesee Bock
Figured why not cause it was $6.99 out the door
Where in Vermont if I may ask?... I'm likely the only NT'er from Vermont ...
Dang. NYC is taking over. I have a early august trip to ny/VT coming up this year. Two wks of bliss. Not sure how to plan this one. May need some help from locals. I'm okay with a semi hunt but my family isn't into ipas. So it may be a whole brewery experience. I don't know of the NE to be known for its German styling. That may be it's one fault.
I'm sorta beyond the chase.
Just finished up my 4th 12 pack of new Belgium citradelic. Drinkability Is crazy. Sam Adams rebel gf ipa is grounding Me a bit.
Local places opening up everywhere. Maybe it's just that frugal consumer side of me popping in. But I have no true desires to try new places who haven't proven themselves. Just finished my 2nd or 3rd 6 pack of rebel gf ipa [I haven't bought multiple SA sixers since I turned 21). I guess I'm caught in a price rut. But at the same time, I don't feel I'm missing out.
I'm okay on an income front. But it's starting to feel less worth it. I guess we all work in waves. Well see how I work this 1 out
I like you're progression through all the beer styles through this past year. Have you had Weihenstephaner hefe? It's probably a top 3 graded hefe in the world. Sometimes you just don't like a style. Nothing wrong with that. 3 flavors come out that you must like if you want to enjoy hefes. Banana, bubble gum, and clove.Had Wit Fit, this is good! A little more hop kick than two hearted. It's strange.. from the taste you'd probably call it an ipa.
Had summer shandy, it was meh.
Funky Buddha Floridian right now.
I don't think hefes are for me.
