Overall thoughts on AEW Fozz Fozz ?

Have you followed their tv shows at all?
I think AEW is pretty good. Production value is good.

I watched some episodes of Dynamite and Rampage. Tuned in at the beginning when I found out Kenny Omega was going to be part of it due to hearing a lot about him from the Indy/New Japan circuit. Thenwhen CM Punk first arrived because I was curious how big a reception he'd get since leaving the WWE.

Also noticed how many belts they have, which was surprising.

Still don't fully understand the dislike for the promotion. Is it the writing? Tony Khan? The wrestlers itself? Idk. It seems they have a pretty good following based on the crowd in attendance. People in our section seemed to just enjoy the show for what it was.

seen some folks on the streets in wrestling gear this morning. they still riding high off last night show. good to see AEW showing out

I missed the show last night..From the looks of the thread the only thing I need to watch is the main event..Gonna give it a viewing now..
Trios match is cool.
Deathmatch if that’s your thing.
Main event.

RE: MJF can't wrestle: NT detectives can pull receipts if they want to but some marks on here were echoing this statement and slowly trying to sweep IT under the rug now. OK.
For the most part, he wrestles like a guy in the 80s. Maybe he turns it up on PPV, I honestly don’t know because it’s not often I pay for their shows. But when I see him on tv it’s nothing special.

Ironman match is MOTY thus far for me I think.

Would be pretty tough to top too.

aew doesn’t really have a ppv that stands out. wwe always got the rumble and mania that people get hype for.

Their PPv's don't stand out because they don't have "gimmicks" to stand out. Only one I can think of is DoN with the Casino Battle Royal. WWE has Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, Elimination Chamber, Extreme Rules, War Games, etc.
But A&W does throw in stipulation matches in every PPV they just don't center the entire event around IT

Are you talking for AEW or all of wrestling?..
Definitely A&W. I think it’s one of, if not the best match in the history of the company tbh.

I’d say all of wrestling too. Was gonna bring up Briscoes/Revival but that was last year.

You have Bryanson who is one of the best workers of all time as well as MJF who is my favorite in the company and IMO the best young talent in the world. He completely showed out. Was his best workrate match and still did all of the “MJF stuff” that makes him great. Match was booked well and told a great story.

There is no dislike towards the promotion.

There IS dislike towards their stanbase, though.

Finally finished the MJF/Dragon match..Was very entertaining and both men put in work..One very positive thing I took from it was that I don't think anyone could say that either man carried the match or had to go above and beyond to make up for the other's short comings..There were a couple things in the match that I didn't like/didn't think were necessary, but none of those small things took away too much from the overall experience..

Match Rating: 4.25 Meltzers..

1 thing I will say that was absolute trash (and has been/continues to be in AEW) was the referee..To me AEW has a really severe problem with the quality of their refs..They're always out of positions, in the way, making stupid "loud" gestures, and flat out drawing too much attention to themselves (which takes away attention from the workers in the ring)..I feel like AEW refs' antics consistently takes one-half to one full star away from the vast majority of the matches with Aubrey Edwards being the worst referee I've ever seen in my 40yrs of watching wrestling..
