NYC Storm destroyed my house and car... NEED HELP!!!

Damn.
We get tornados all the time (not all of them touch down) in 95 our house was destroyed too so we just moved
but I've never seen anything like that before

A thunderstorm is not a tornado. It can produce tornadoes but most of the time its a heavy rain storm.

A thunderstorm is not a tornado. It can produce tornadoes but most of the time its a heavy rain storm.
 
I had no idea it was like that yesterday. I was at school (Lehman College) and just waited underneath an entrance with a covering to leave. I was parked right under a tree too. Thank goodness.
