i never liked the nash trade because i knew he was old as dirt but was cool with the kidd signing... still mad we didnt pull the trigger on that lowry trade though :{

It was a Post article so take it very lightly. He would structure a deal where he gets max next year and then a little less in 2015.

I'm fine guys. We played the host country and had a brain fart on their first goal. Ref sucked, but we got neymar out.

Melo taking $128,999,900.76

i mean hind site is always 20/20, but if we made that trade we wouldve been winners and everyone wouldve happy. Lowry was playing like crap when the trade rumors surrounded him. then a couple games during the rumors, he started balling. he was also playing for a contract. i think he was also motivated by the team the Raps have. very team oriented, the hype around the city, and they are very competitive. those things led to him playing well for the rest of the season/playoffs, & turned into him resigning with TO for 3 years. doubt he wouldve resigned to NY

Apparently if the Knicks bring back Melo and sign Gasol were at best a 7 seed and the Knicks are the worst situation for him according to a Lakers fan.

Just for kicks , if Melo resigns with the Knicks and let's say Pau joins him who in the East is completely better than that team outside of Miami (if they stay together) and maybe Washington ?

Calderon/Larkin
Shumpert/Hardaway
Jr/Melo
Melo/Amare
Amare/Bargnani
Gasol/Dalembert

With cap flexibility going into 15-16 this is not a bad situation at all. It's the best one IMO

Seen and took a pic with Chris Smith last night by Raven in the meatpacking district. Asked him if he thought Melo staying and he said "Nah"

Shumpert HAS to come into his own this season.

A good perimeter scorer/defender is going to huge for us going forward.
