I think this is all BS. Just for attention and views. All week it was known that LA didn't have to move or trade anyone and would offer the max. Two days later, after the max is offered, it's a big deal on a slow day that the Lakers don't have to move any players

He's a hell of a lot more credible than the ******* New York Post.
The fact that Woj backed up Simmons original tweet (and others have followed) means someone out there is saying it. In terms of how legit it actually is though? Who knows. Could be a smokescreen from Melo's camp.
What I care about is getting something for him in a S&T if he decides to go. Phil's history aside, LA is worst case scenario because they don't need to give up anything to sign him outright.

It's just been stuff to laugh at like that whole theory of Phil making Melo look good and Melo secretly recruiting for the Knicks the entire time.
When it comes to the negative stuff or positive especially when it attempts to quote somebody I say **** all that getting word through sources bull ****. I've seen too many ppl get caught up with that off the papers and it's worse now online. Melo hasn't said much and neither has Phil. This **** has been the epitome of putting words in to a person's mouth to generate hype and clicks for a non story to keep the narrative going until things are final. Not to mention not every person can't be right witht here contradicting rumors.
To focus on this latest one it literally doesn't make sense anyway. The only thing holding Melo up is Phil originally wanted him to take less? So the **** what he's allegedly offering you the max now. It's that fickle nonsensical rumor mongering like this that gets yall in to a frenzy and yall bash Melo or whoever for a few pgs.
