why is everyone so hung up on shump? he has really done nothing! He is a guard who can't score and his D is mad overrated!

you trade shump because ur in a lose lose situation. he has a ****** year and kills all value, or he has a great year and asks for a payday. ship him out asap.

realistically, i wouldnt mind moving amare and shump for cap space and a draft pick. like johnny said, we either pay him or let him go. however, he may have a super productive year under the new regime, so id rather take the chance. i think that this whole trade scenario is to sign pau and maybe fill out the rest of the roster.

Stephon Marbury Jr. He would be a disaster in NY. I don't want him on this team at all. He would be JR Smith on steroids and I mean off the court, sometimes on the court.

Without a doubt. They're both very similar players. One is a moron that teachers actually thought was ******ed. Another had a beef with our head coach. Shump should be doing the same **** Lance did last year without the clown act.

He's already proven that he cannot. He needs to stay where he is. Smaller city with less distractions and Larry Bird to continue to bring him along. He has historical behavioral problems. When I found out he was in special education in HS I was surprised. He needs continued guidance.

It seems like he has ADHD to me Beh. You need a coach/organization that's willing to bring him along, but the talent is there. Could Fish and Phil handle it, maybe? Is it worth attempting in NY? Who knows. Curious to see what happens these next few weeks.

IIRC he does have ADHD. I was also told his father was really overbearing and yelled a lot, but I don't know what that's like now. He also had that escort fiasco here while playing the Knicks. Usually, players that come home to play don't have the outcome they expect. I would not want him to come here.

That's true about Shumpert, here is no middle with him. He's a risk, either he will be really good, or bad. His defense has been questionable since he came back from the injury.
