I said it yesterday and I'll say it again: Shumpert is going to be a Paul George type of player for us. Just watch and see.

If I'm Chris Smith, I wouldn't even want the spot knowing how I got it.  Clearly, if he was actually deserving of it, Woody wouldn't have to make any mention of the family connection.  All he'd have to say is that the kid made the squad on the merits of his own talent and not because he's the brother of one of our best players. 

Not only did he not say that, but he basically said the opposite.

Shump my dawg but his offense still too herky jerky.  No one thing he can rest his laurels on.  Not a great shooter, ball handler, passer, or playmaker yet.   The potential is obviously there, but he has yet to put it all together. 

JR still our second best player.  Solid defender and better offensive player.
