Idk why but I had this dream that melo was in Miami and Jim Grey was interviewing him. But they were standing on a court and the arena had mad people. Like it was some kind of halftime show. And he had like some kids around him. And all were wearing warmups with no team logo

And he kept saying how much he loves Miami. The weather is nice the lifestyle is nice. His friends are down there.

So I'm like **** this ***** he about to talk about joining Miami. And about I'm to take off the TV.
So right as I have the remote in hand he was like "but new York is better " and started to take off his warmup to reveal a Knicks outfit. And all the kids did too.

Then you see lebron come from the back with the same logo less warmup jogging out. And melo goes back to the mic and says "oh yeah and I'm bringing my friend with me too!".

And lebron unvelils a Knicks uni. And the AA arena is furious! Hurling objects. Beer . whatever they can find.

Lebron cursed out pat Riley talking about " I ain't scared of you *****"

And they jog out with all the kids.

Then I wake up about 15 minutes ago checking ESPN to see if I'm bugging out.

What a dumb dream. Out of no where.
Enjoy the rest of your day people. I'm about to go to work. :{

lmao reminds of when Sting joined the WolfPak NWO

Y'all turn on players quick fast man. Damn.
Y'all turn on players quick fast man. Damn.

Word. I actually like that he's making an effort to get better. He's 23, let's be serious here.
I don't know about yall but this is the Knicks. THE KNICKS. I no longer have any patience for these bum *** can't get right players. I'll turn on any player just like I did Fields, Novak, JR, etc. once they show they're not improving and they can only manage to struggle. Shump's play this past season was pitiful.

Constantly having the little bit of hope for these players who always seem to come to the Knicks and then play like trash really isn't good for the fan base. All that behavior just contributes to this battered wife syndrome Knicks fans have. No more enabling.

Out with the bums unless they can show they can improve and help the team win. I don't give a **** if they leave here and become all stars or join a team and win a championship on the bench. **** em.

:rollin :rollin

There aren't enough :rollin to convey my reaction to this post. If that were to happen I feel that'd honestly make Melo more hated than LeBron. Bron would get that hate for being a follower and ditching a team to go with another star for more rings but Melo would get crushed for that little speech in Miami surrounded by children in a packed arena :rollin

Thats awesome

See, I avoid all that. I call the BS as soon as I see it. From where the team is I can already sense what works and what doesn't. From the examples you gave, did you really think Fields was going to help? Man HELL NO!

. Same goes for whatever player you'd name. I knew Melo would be a failed experiment because off the bat, the team was worse than the team he left. That first 5 minutes of Amar'e and Melo looked god awful. You can have hope, but idk, as a die hard fan, that's to be commended, but sometimes common sense has to kick in. I knew nothing would work with their recent past moves from D'antoni, to Woodson, to Melo and STAT. I think this franchise has to build from the ground up almost to be back on track. Everything has been patchwork so far. Start from 2000 until now and that's what it's been. I've never really felt comfortable with this team being close to complete since 94/95 srs. I wasn't even convinced of the '99 team because so many players were being played out of their natural position and that bothered me so much. Even my friends killed me for thinking that.

Those were just a few examples. I can name more and go further back.

Basically it comes down to this: If you come to this team and on average aren't more of a positive than negative get the **** outta here. It aint even about buying in to them or w/e. I got no problem supporting a dude when he's doing good here and then ******** on him when he's just contributing to bad play. Cuz really aint none of my favorite players even on the Knicks so none of them deserve my constant support.

And there you have it, quintessential Knick fan logic. Gotta love that

Phil Jackson publicly tells Melo to take less money = bad, stupid move

Pat Riley publicly tells 3 players to man up and take less money = not a word

Makes sense.

That's how it always been with me though. My fav NBA players aint on the Knicks or when they do get here they're old and broken.

I don't truly love Shump's (and historically a lot of players) game so why should I fake like I'd support dude no matter what? I mean yeah I'll support cuz they're on the team I love as long as they play good but once they show no improvement and continue to stink it up I'm ******** on them constantly until they leave word to Toney Douglas. It'd be illogical for me to continue to support some of these dudes just cuz they were on the Knicks.

^ fair enough. A lot of NY sports fans have that mentality though. That's why I commend fan bases that rock with their team no matter what. From what you describe you begrudgingly like the Knicks which is pretty much par for the course

. Dolan has made it very difficult to fully support the team though.

The Knicks fans that booed Carmelo Anthony these past few years because Colin Cowherd told them to are the Knicks fans that piss me off.

I love the Knicks. I just don't love all of the players on the team. If that makes sense and as a NYK fan I will **** on those I don't like when they horrible struggle ball.

As you say Dolan has made it more than difficult. This aint even the worse team. It just hurts more given the standout seasons where we play great and in the playoffs just to follow up that season with trash play. It was harder to love the team when it was filled with Eisley's, Harringtons, Weatherspoons, and Shandon Andersons.

Anybody who boos their home team off what a radio host says is a total moron. Anybody with a brain can see that Cowherd doesn't like Melo. He makes good points about him at times, but he goes entirely too hard on him.

I get what you're saying. Just like how I feel about John Starks and Charles Smith. They'll never get love from me. Ever.

Agreed Beh. You know how a lot of these dudes in NY are. Just put on WFAN or the ESPN version and you'll hear some of the outlandish things callers say.

I usually listen to the national ESPN shows (Mike and Mike, Cowheard, SVP etc). I can't deal with Michael Kay and WFAN, I tried, I just can't. They take too many callers and it bugs the **** out of me

I'm still riding with Shump. I'm not crazy about athletes being overly active on social media, but if its about basketball and improving his game, why not. Yes I was thoroughly dissapointed with his past season, he almost regressed and certainly didnt improve but ya'll are quick to forget Woodson didnt do him any good either. I mentioned several times last year Woodson is ruining Shump. His rotations were garbage.

Which actually makes me excited for D Fish. I think we're finally gonna see young guys get the burn they need to develop unlike during the pringles/potato head regimes.

Btw Mike Francesa's caller>all other shows

One dude just called up and first thing he says "melo and lebron are going to the lakers". Probably trolling but the seriousness in the tone of these callers make it so funny.
