Offical 2008 NFL draft Thread. 12PT/3ET on ESPN/NFLNetwork

This is why it's hard to criticize who teams take, even though we all love to do it.

Henderson was a projected 2nd/3rd rounder and he didn't even get drafted

If I was Caleb Campbell I would go to Iraq instead of playing for the Lions.

Lions had another horrible draft. Oh well. I will be saying the same thing next year when we are drafting #5 and get Lil Animal's overrated self.

What is the mentality not picking a QB in the draft? I mean, Orton may develop into a good QB, and if Rex was going to develop into a franchise QB, it wouldhave happened by now. Also, whats with taking a TE? In all of the Bears needs, I don't see TE as one of them. Greg Olsen & Dez Clark are awesomeTE's. We could have traded to get an additional 2nd round pick, and got Henne or Brohm, and it woul have been a good deal. I would even have settled forBooty, Woodson, or Brennan. Either they have their eye on a free agent QB or Rex or Kyle one has some incriminating pictures of Jerry Angelo. I am really justdumbfounded. Leading up to the draft their talking about how you should take a QB at some point every year, just to keep good prospects in development, andthen they skip the position all together. I am utterly confused. I hope Lovie's genius is beyond my understanding, cause it just doesn't make sense.

Alis 40 at the combine killed his dreams.

I hope the Lions give him and Erin Henderson a look. We need solid LBs and I think they should be able to fit the bill

D.J. Hall was pretty good in college... What was the Knock on him?? He wouldnt be a bad slot reciever or a mid to deep threat.

Dj is slow and not much of a deep threat, he was good in college

DeSean will have 500 yrds receiving and at least 3 kick/punt return tds

Are you saying Desean is better than Ted Ginn?

Nah, I think it's too early to evaluate who's better right now.

Admittedly, I haven't seen much of Ginn (only several OSU games), but from what I've seen from DeSean, I really think he'll do very well in theNFL. And the Eagles got an absolute steal and most people think so as well. Unless if you're bigmike
