Official 007 "Skyfall" Thread. Out Now!

this was a boring movie.
Fell asleep during some parts....the visuals was nice tho especially in china

Casino Royale>

All of this. I saw Skyfall last night and its definitely a good movie, but it didnt have that authentic feel of a bond movie that casino royal had for example IMO. The visuals of china and the bond family estate were quite beautiful though.

First bond movie

LOVED IT

I've noticed a lot of NTers say Casino Royal is dope

Any other recommendations?

Finally saw it a few hours ago. It wasn't what I was expecting but still a very good movie. I was surprised we didn't see a flashy new Aston Martin model, sex scenes with the Bond girl were kept to a minimum (she was gorgeous btw), and Bond didn't go on a killing rampage in the first half of the movie like he seemed to do in the 2 previous films. I would still rank Casino Royale ahead of it. Vesper was a very good secondary character.

The visuals were amazing. The night scenes in I think it was Shanghai were crazy and Macau was just as nice. I like how we finally saw what Skyfall actually was.

i heard it was really good. maybe one of the best bond movies yet. what ya think?
I'm not a Bond expert by any means, but it was excellent. Great action sequences, great villain, terrific visually, and the older, wounded Bond was very interesting to see.

It would have been better had the wounded part played a bigger role in the movie. after the tests, it seemed like nothing could have effected him. this movie was used as the transition from the reckless Bond of CR and QoS to the suave, sophisticated, unstoppable Bond.

i wish they would have played off the emotional pain/anger Bond was feeling from CR/QoS more in this movie but still really good.

How much movie time has passed between Casino Royale and Skyfall? He was like a veteran in the League who's been dealing with injuries in this movie. I do like how they put some realism in it and he's not young, and invincible like he used to be in the older Bond movies. Finding out more about his life was good too. I wonder if they would ever try to branch off and make movies about other 00 agents.

nvm, found it.

Speaking of guns, I've always loved the Walther PPK, and Bond's with the palm print id was dope
