people probably liked him when he said wining is more important to him than money.
I liked him when he said he was keeping his options open. that was all he had to say. that's it.
i stopped liking him when he publicly admitted that he couldn't sleep because of his extension and demanded that something be done this weekend. he said he doesn't want to do things like lebron, he doesn't want to be hated
so he's okay being polite to the nets by not publicly saying he has no intention of ever playing with them. he is okay being polite to the nuggets and helping them use their leverage. he's only okay with screwing up his new team as long as he gets his money

Melo has played himself. Somebody on his team is stirring him the wrong way or they are just idiots.
How hasn't nobody explained to him that in NEW YORK, he will get the endorsement money, Radio money, T.V. Show and Reality Show possibilities. I don't want to say it's silly for him to even be sweating an extension so hard, when at the end of the day, we don't even know how the new CBA will look, but if I know the opportunities being in NEW YORK will bring then it almost is.
He has spoiled any kind of excitement about getting him for me, because if we do, we aren't in a great situation roster wise. I don't feel like we will have a COMPLETE roster that can compete.
If we end up with him, we going to be going through A LOT of changes for the next year and a half trying to build the right squad.
I'm gonna sit back in the cut though and just see what turns out to be what.

Man, I feel like the Nets were never really back into talks. Just a tactic to get Dolan's greedy a.ss to get gun happy, scared he will lose a Ticket seller to the team coming to New York in a year or 2.
