theres always gonna be stupid people out there who get suckered. even if you think "how can that happen?" in certain situations, it still happens. kanye west sold plain white tees for $100+, and they sold out QUICK. yes, PLAIN WHITE TEES. for over $100. and they sold out fast. meanwhile theres racks and racks and racks and raaaaaaaacks of white tees at department stores for nowhere near $100.
