I don't think Braves resign Tex probably Mets or Yankees sign him as a free agent.

Tex will want a long term contract probably at +16 Million Per Year and I don't think Braves have that type of money to spend at least Braves might getDraft Picks for whoever signs Tex and Braves can get some great Prospects in return because Tex will be an Type A Free Agent.

They said that Escobar will likely play tomorrow. Don't know about Chipper he got hit pretty bad on his leg so don't think he plays tomorrow.

Hopefully a Braves pitcher hits a Met tomorrow in revenge.

Yea i heard about that during the game but they were saying that he wants to stay... But we all know what happened with Andruw Jones... He wanted to staybut ended up going... I guess we have to wait it out

Bobby thinks Smoltz, Soriano, and Gonzalez could all be ready to join the bullpen within 2 weeks. If they can return and throw like old, that bullpen could benasty. I'm fairly confident in Smoltz and Soriano. Gonzalez is a different story, coming off the TJ Surgery...but he's looked strong down in Florida,reportedly.

Speaking of Soriano...Horacio Ramirez just signed a minor-league deal with the Royals. If you recall, he's the bum that we shipped to Seattle for Sori. Hehad a 7.16 ERA in 20 starts for Seattle in 2007.

I forgot to say that Chipper Jones hit his 399 Career Homerun and only needs 1 more for400 Career Homeruns

Braves bullpen can be great with the return of Soriano and Smoltz but their will be some complicated issues because i think Soriano wants to close but I'dput Smoltz as the Closer and Soriano 8th and Gonzalez 7th then Manny Acosta could be the 6th inning that would be a lethal bullpen from 6-9 innings. I reallylike Gonzalez no need to rush him he needs to be 100 % ready he has that weird violent pitching delivery which i like so let him come back when he is fullyready.

There will be no issues at all. Whateva inning Smotlz wants to pitch, that's when he is goin to pitch. Cox will just let the chips fall in placedepending on Smoltz.

Chipper is still sitting on Homerun #399 and he is tearing up the baseball.

D-backs haven't been playing good they got swept by the Marlins and Braves won't face Webb or Haren so Braves can put some W's in this serieshopefully Braves are hot at home. Jorge Campillo will get another start but on 3 days rest.

The Braves were leaning toward activating closer Rafael Soriano from the disabled list Monday for the series finale against Arizona, and could add John Smoltz to the bullpen during the six-game road trip that starts Tuesday in Milwaukee.

Smoltz will accompany the Braves on the trip to Milwaukee and Cincinnati, but it was undetermined Sunday if the veteran pitcher would be activated from the DL without another minor league rehab appearance.
