Spurs = Roaches...so it's gonna be a tough game. We definitely don't wanna go back to SA. The key is Lamar & Fish. If they play well, we shouldwin.

LET'S GO LAKERS!!!

It's going to be a close game. Spurs aren't going to roll over and die. If Lamar has a good game, then the Lakers will take it. Hopefully Fish canlockdown Parker. Kobe will do his thing. Lakers haven't lost at home for a while so I expect them to close out the Spurs tonight.

at the laker fans getting excited after joey crawford and companypulled a 1997 survivor series montreal screwjob on the spurs during the final seconds. The spurs have the lakers right where they want them and will prove itfrom the opening tipoff tonight. Western Conference Champs? Hell No. I expect Tim Duncan to come out like a madman tomorrow and set the tempo early. This gamewon't be like games 1,2, and 4. I expect the Spurs to get an easy victory tonight and then cruise to victory in games 6 and 7. Regardless of it being 3-1this series is over. Start printing those Spurs Western Conference Champs shirts now folks. Final score of tonights game, Spurs 125 Lakers 87. Tim Duncan with42 points and 24 rebounds, Tony Parker with 27 points and 18 assists, and Manu comes off the bench with 37 points to light the spark. Time to start the game 6thread already.

On a serious note though this game reminds me of game 5 of the 2000 western conference finals for whatever reason. That Laker team was also up 3-1 on Portlandand they hadn't been to the finals before prior to that year with the exception of a few veterans on the team. This team is somewhat similar in theexpierence factor except for Fisher and Kobe. This is a series the Lakers don't want to extend though and I'm confident they'll take the Spurs bestshots early and pull away late but closing out the champs is never easy.

GO Lakers!!!!! Kobe deserves a chance to contend for a ring w/o Shaq. Plus, it's getting kinda old seeing the Spurs in the winner circle. I was happy whenthe Spurs beat the Pistons in the finals, it showed who was the domminant team.

It will bw a close game but the Lakers will prevail!!!

LakersMets49ers is right on, this is eerily similar to the 00 series vs Portland. We could easily lose tonightand then have to go back to SA which we know the Spurs won't get eliminated on their home floor, and we could be right back here with a game 7....againstthe champs.

This is a must win for us. Sounds weird, but I want no part of the Spurs after getting some momentum. We need to jump out early on them, let the crowd getcrazy for a bit, and try to dagger them asap. This the type of game where Kobe could come out early to try and get some buckets and get a lead. What I hopefor, is that he attacks but throws some of those lobs to Pau to get him going, or kicks out to Fish for some 3's. That will get everyone involved and thecrowd will get that chance to go bananas.

Let's end this tongiht.

.... You gotta win at least back to back titles to beconsidered a dynasty....
The Torch is being passed tonite for the Western Conference....

We win easily if Kobe can manage to get at least 1 trip to the foul line.

I hope they make up for all the no-calls the Lakers got. That being said Steve Javie doesn't bode well for the Lakers and I could see the NBA doinganother rig job. Go Lakers.

This wont be easy...
