I just got offered this trade for my 10 man league.

I get: Brian Westbrook Clinton Portis

I give: Desean Jackson Rashard Mendenhall

I don't see how it'll help me though. I'm probably going to reject it.

Donavan coming off his big return or Brees coming off a bye week preceded by two TD-less weeks against (arguably) the NFL's best team.
I'm leaning towards Donavan, especially going against Oakland, but I'm very hesitant to go against Brees.

No brainer, homie. DNab vs. Oak.

i don't know about that.. the eagles might be able to close oakland out early, thus mcnabb wouldn't play that much.. plus oakland does have a good secondary

brees could be in for dog fight with the giants.. so you know he'll be playing (same reason i'm starting matt ryan over mcnabb this week)

Good points, but it's still a no brainer. Don't take the risk. 100% of the QBs playing the Oak Raiders are scoring around 25+ in most leagues. EliManning did it last week while only playing the 1st quarter and half of the 2nd quarter (depending on your scoring system of course). Someone in my Yahooleague had him and Bradshaw. Between the two, he had well over 50 points. My only arguement against this logic would be that Eli vs. Drew Brees QB ratinghistory in these matchups has Eli BLOWING out Drew by a mile. He has a QB rating of like 148 or something. Something to think about even if NO defense ishighly ranked this year.
Good luck either way. I think you will be decent, no matter who you choose.

Think about this:

• Jags have 29th worst pass D and gave up 11 passing td so far
• Jags Dline is almost as bad as their Oline... AND will probably not have their #1 corner (Mathis)...
• Avery just had his best game last week (5 rec, 87yds, 1td)

Desean is playing against Mr. Asomugha.

OOOOOH, now THIS is a good one. 9 times outta 10, I'm taking Boldin.

This isn't one of those times. Burleson is healthy, AZ's pass D is worst in the league (#1 best run D) and Hasselbeck is healthy.

If 'Quan goes off, you can blame me. I don't mind being wrong with this one. lol.

Oh, and I'd still start Mendenhall. He's starting and likely to get some goal line carries too.

I got K.Smith for Bowe and Jamal Lewis
now it just makes my lineup this week even harder.

Out of the following 6, need to start 5

Sims-Walker vs the Rams

Steve Smith vs Tampa (last year he $+@%+*+ all over tampa, I just have that gut feeling this is he's week)

Welker vs Titans

AP vs Balt (we all know balt has a good run d, but im not sitting ap lol)

Jacobs vs Saints (this is the 1 player i was thinking of sitting for smith)

K.Smith vs Packers
