MJD is very nice, but I don't think he's even Top 5 worthy. Losing Taylor hurts him I believe, and teams will definitely make him the focal point oftheir preparation strategy.




Could prove me wrong, but really believe as a #1 pick he'd prove to be a bust. You gotta go AP with #1.

I feel you on that but i had AP the last 2 years and he didnt do much towards the end of the year when i needed him most. I had MJD last year and he did workfor me in the playoffs. Im pretty sure MJD had more overall pts than AP for me in my league last year and with more of a workload and the addition of Holt inthe passing game, I can see him doing the same again this year. If it wasn't a PPR league I wouldnt even be asking this question it would be AP hands down.
 
How do you guys feel about Willie Parker and Santonio Holmes? I have them in my league and my boy keeps telling me they are gonna be awful
 
Santonio just pissed me off last year, he isn't good for PPR or anything and I don't think much will change this year.

I think Willie will bounce back and be fine

Addai's about to lose his starting job in my opinion and Witten will do good but I think the #s you could get out of Houshmandzadeh and Colston will bebetter.
 
Yeah I have the 7th pick so I was gonna use that on a RB and not keep Addai.....or at least thats the direction I was leaning.
 
I got the 4th pick in my draft in a couple hours. Can someone convince me that LT's year was just a fluke and not to take Steven Jackson?

LT still has 2-3 descent years in him.....plus SD's defense is expected to be healthy this year so they shouldn't be throwing the ball 34895403830983times a game this year. Also, STL lost Donnie Avery (their projected number 1 WR) for 4-6 weeks and Bulger is out as well....their offense doesn't lookto promising and although he will get a lot of touches, I still like LT better......

However, if I had the #4 pick I'd look at MJD, Turner or Forte.....did you see Forte last night killin the G-Men!?!?! and he has Cutler now....

Just had my Draft with my coworkers. This is my 1st offline so i was a little unprepared as far as how the depth charts are for each team

QB: Matt Ryan, Brett Favre, Vick (My Mr. Irrelevant)
RB: S. Jackson, Portis, and Mendenhall
WR: Berrian, Hester, Holt, Robert Meachem, Sidney Rice, Crabtree, Josh morgan
TE: Tony Gonzalez
DEF: Steelers, Ravens
K: Elam

I orginally had the 11th pick but traded my 1st and 2nd round for the 4th overall and 4th pick of the 3rd round. Kinda backfired on me because I did that withthe intention of being able to take either Steve Smith or Boldin with that rounder and neither one of them was there (I took Portis in that spot). So im thinat WR. Im hoping I dont regret taking Jackson over Forte (Forte went 9th and LT 10th)

to be honest thats a horrible team and that trade makes no sense at all

I like your starting RBs and I can't believe you got Calvin Johnson in the 3rd...steal. Schaub should do big things in that Texans offensethis season if he stays healthy....ugh at Roethlisberger in the 4th round though.

Draft was yesterday, 10-team league I had the #10 pick. I picked up Brady & Moss back-to-back and then after the draft was over I traded for AP withouthaving to give up the Brady to Moss connection which I think is huge. Here's my squad..
