The Nets and Blazers are closing in on a deal involving Gerald Wallace, according to two sources. The Nets would send Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams and a protected first round pick for Wallace.

Wallace was in a proposed trade in December with Dwight Howard.

Charlotte traded Wallace to Portland last February.

It boggles my mind that Thorn won't go after another (decent) defensive big for the Sixers.



But it's nice that they acquired Sam Young for basically nothing though..dude fits in perfect on a defensive team like the Sixers.
