Time to change the title of this thread to...

"Official 2013 NBA Offseason Thread - The Grizzlies are the #1 Sports Franchise"

:p

Hard to believe that in 2010, the team was ranked #75 and moved up so quickly in a three year span. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come, even if it is just ESPN Mag :lol

wack???

wasnt that team one of the top defensive teams in the league that year?

they were seeded number 1 in the east

The East was garbage though. Only three teams won 50+ games (Philly won 56). The west had seven playoff teams at 50+. Nobody won 60, so the effects of the lockout and expansion were still lingering.

& single handly stopped LA from sweeping the whole post season even if it was ONE ignorant W

Classic example of rust being more of a detriment than rest being a benefit. I seriously doubt the Lakers would have dropped that first game if they didn't have such a long layoff between the Finals and wrapping up the WCF. But whatever, they did lose.

The sixers team was basically the perfect allen iverson team, any talk of them "sucking" or Allen Iverson dragging them anywhere is just dumb.

They went as far as that defense took em.

One of my favorite playoff teams was the Warriors team with Baron Davis.

I used to covet #31's sister, I mean I guess I still do but I think about her less now. She got a kid and works at Pizza Hut now. Small world. Dude, his name is Kyle, transferred from OU to like Southern Baptist Nazarene or some ****, no idea why

I think he's talking about the team that had the coach of the year, defensive player of the year and sixth man of the year

I swear if AI and Raja Bell hit some ft's in game two they would have won that game.

Yeah they let game 2 slip away. I remember being impressed with the way Philly actually came out and tried to get game 2, and almost did. They almost got game 3 as well. Damn Robert Horry.

I was 9 years old during that finals :lol

Andrew Bynum "nowhere near ready" according to sources.

I swear if he does the same thing to the Cavs as he did to the Sixers last year the league should take every penny he's made over the past couple years.
