Lance benefited that team in the playoffs with his ball handling, getting out into transition and was probably the best passer on the team. It's so basic at NBA level and sounds silly but George/Granger combo at 2/3 is just too awful at ball handling & passing. Hill needs that 2ndary guy in the back court with him to relieve pressure.

He can buy them minutes off the bench that they need but I don't mess with that starting lineup. 6th man or try to move him.

Yeah that blown layup was bad but CJ Watson is way better than DJ. Better shooter, ballhandler and isn't always trying to do too much a la DJ.

but how can a team who got gradually better since 2007, and has made playoff in both of the past 2 seasons a flash in the pan?
Definitely more than that. Had George been more aggressive, no telling what could've happened since Wade was injured.

Still see them in the ECF though.

Definitely not.

Had JR not gone thru the worst shooting slump of his career, no telling what could've happened.

The Game slapped Brandon Jennings bc he said he was hogging the microphone too much at his birthday party. :rollin

Had JR not gone thru the worst shooting slump of his career the greatest week long rager of his life, no telling what could've happened.

Damn. Between this and Stephen Jackson choking Steve Francis for being too close him when he was on the mic, I guess holding the microphone at a party is serious business.
Blake Griffin Has Baby with Same Woman Who Had Matt Leinart's Child
It's not exactly The Brady Bunch, but the story of Brynn Cameron, who has children by both Matt Leinart and now the Clippers' star forward Blake Griffin, is something straight out of a sitcom.

Perhaps they could start their own live version of Pro-Stars

The Los Angeles Times' Broderick Turner reports Griffin and Cameron welcomed a baby boy, Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin, into the world on Monday.

We might have to wait until the team's media day next Monday for more information. Until then, Turner was able to get this statement from the proud father asking for privacy.

"We are very happy to have a healthy baby, but respectfully request to keep our personal affairs private and let us focus on parenting our son."

If Cameron's name sounds familiar, it may be because she is a former USC basketball player who played for the Trojans from 2004 to 2008, hitting 131 career three-pointers (good for third all-time at USC).

Of course, that might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you hear about the former athlete. She also shares a son with NFL free-agent quarterback Matt Leinart—who last played for the Buffalo Bills before he was cut after just one preseason game earlier this year.

Back in 2009, the New York Times' Billy Witz profiled Cameron, her relationship with Leinart and their son Cole they now share.

Per the report, Cameron and Leinart met when the basketball player was a freshman, breaking the ice over a chance discussion on the jersey number they shared.
One thing led to another and the two enjoyed a romantic relationship, one that ended when Leinart was a senior—shortly after she learned she would be having the star quarterback's child.

Thankfully, she states the two have learned to be amicable for their son, but the fame and media intrigue took some getting used to.
I was already devastated that I was pregnant. Then being pregnant and having it so public, emotionally, I can’t deal with this. There were times when I would break down — why is this so public, why do people care? After a while, you learn to not listen, to not care.
We certainly hope she still has thick skin when it comes to public attention, because having Griffin's son is bound to draw coverage.

As of this writing, the likes of the Washington Post, Fox Sports, TMZ and many others had reported on the birth.

While Griffin is silent on the subject, we are left to offer the only thing that really matters. Here is to congratulating the couple on their new bundle of joy. May life be one big slam dunk for the kid.
