It's totally outdated. You can't run a offense where most of your shots end up in the mid range.

I was reading an article where he still insists that it can be ran successfully with the right players and mindset. Ish might have worked with Jordan/pippen and Shaq/Kobe/gasol but it's all about spacing and shooting 3s now

I don't know if I remember correctly it was something like the most important positions in the triangle is a ball dominant SG and a front court player that can bring it up court or pass like a guard while the PG position just needs to be a good shooter since they aren't the primary ball handler.
