So if KD would have went to the cavs would he still be a b*%*^? lol
they just won the title.. that shhh would irk me too

as a thunder fan, of course I wanted dude to stay in OKC

but I'm talking as a competitor.. if dude went to Portland, boston or even hell the clippers.. I could see it.. or even the spurs, if learning/playing smart basketball was such a priority

I dont get it. I am not going to play this game at the highest level to lose. Im sorry. Im not rebuilding, im not trying to make moves and get better no i did that for 8 years I want to win and while I am a free agent I am going to make the best move to win. I dont see how people can hate that.
Exactly

Dudes know their legacies will be judged on rings.

But we get mad at them for putting themselves in prime opportunity to win a ring?

Dumb

Your statement is contradictory.

You see how a player need to place himself in the prime opportunity to win a ring but you bash Durant for making the best move to win.

hmmm

You don't read.

I clearly stated why I have issue with his decision

And it isn't because he wants to put himself in a greater position to win a ring

I feel like Lebron did the same thing by getting chris bosh and d freaking wade on the same teaming and going to miami.

for reference before people say oh Miami didnt win the chip blah blah blah. Dwade was 26 and 6 in 2009. CB was 24 and 10 on his team. Lebron was 29, 8, and 7. So the 2nd best(sorry nobody is going to be above Kobe to me) SG and the best PF at the time with paired with the BEST PLAYER IN ALL POSITIONS in the WORLD joining the same team. C'mon son. Its no different. Sorry I dont care how you try to spin it. Its the same.

So both players didn't take advantage of free agency to maximize their odds of a championship?  8o

One left a franchise that repeatedly failed to even get him a quality second option after he singlehandedly turned them from a lottery team to contenders.

He also went to a team that didn't just make two trips to the finals, he went with Bosh to form a totally new team akin to the Celtics with KG/Ray etc.

KD left a team that repeatedly put pieces around him and had even made a trade to make them even better right before he bolted. He never had to drag a team to the finals twice, he always had at least 1 (for a while, two) All NBA talent next to him and a perpetual DPOY candidate.

They had a horrible coach but finally replaced him with a coach who outcoached Pop and Steve Kerr IN THE PLAYOFFS in his FIRST YEAR.

OKC didn't fail KD even close to the way the Cavs did LeBron, they didn't fail him at all actually.

Not only that but his own bad play down the stretch was a huge reason they didn't reach the Finals last year.

KD still one of the best players of the generation and will continue to be great in GS and he will win rings but that doesn't change anything.

But yea sure if you wanna simplify it, do you.

lol bron and KD are both **** for leaving their team. KD is just the bigger one. i find it funny when people try to justify why bron left and slander KD for leaving.
There are definitely levels to what they did.

Not sure why LeBron has to be a *****.

But KD, I can understand why anyone calls him one.

He essentially is a 3rd grader that got his *** whooped by a bully and decided to join dude's crew. And now he is talking **** to everyone else?

Come on. KD still has my support though. They will be fun to watch

Not sure how to get any more clear than these

i don't read? lol or you don't make your statements clear enough to understand.

If the team with the best opportunity is the same that just bussed his head, then you would have a problem with him leaving? then you should state that you have a problem with a player going to a team with the best opportunity to win if it's the same one that just bussed his head.

3 players vs 4

and at no point was chris bosh the "best PF" in the NBA

plus what did Miami do the 2 years prior to all of them joining together?

and you are giving wade and riley enough credit on the "getting... on the same teaming"

KD is a bigger *** for joining the warriors than bron joining the Heat. but both made *** moves. you can't defend one but not the other IMO.

Lebron went through the fire 1st so **** boys like kd could have options. If bron had never left, bet break none of these other cheesecakes would be 'testing free agency'. bruhs wouldb be on that extension train as soon as it was available. bron created the path. these followers followed it.

what kd did was waaaaaaaaaaaay worse. imo.

bron left a **** team, to create a dope one.

kd left a dope 3-1 leading team, to join marginally doper team that won 4-3 in same series. and then did exact same song n dance in next series.

it's amazing how passionate people are about these dramatic storylines in sports year in and year out.

maybe im old now but i couldn't give a **** if lebron joined forces with kd, steph, mj and the ghost of len bias. i don't care if deandre jordan signed with the orioles and changed his mind. im only concerned with basketball. like all these ****** that *****ed about lebron still tuned in to watch the heat, just like everyone will be tuning in to watch the warriors.

it's entertainment.

bruh...shut up.
