A lot of first round picks had duds this past weekend...AB, OBJ, AJ, AP, Gurley, Freeman, etc.

To squeak out two wins, I need big games from both Jordan Matthews and Ryan Matthews, and pedestrian games from Alshon Jeffery and Jeremy Langford. Hopefully the Eagles show out tonight on both sides of the ball .

Man I should have traded Lamar Miller straight up for Leveon Bell a few days ago and just tanked this week.

Bell will probably be putting up close to 30 points a week in PPR while Lamar is out there giving me half of that.

He's getting insane volume but isn't really doing much with it. The run blocking for the Texans has not been that great and both of these first two games have been at home vs a Chiefs defense that the Chargers RB's ate up Week 1 at Kansas City and the Bears defense who are mediocre at best. He's averaging 3.5 yards per carry right now. His longest run this past game was 8 yards, and if they didn't run the ball for 90% of the 4th quarter than his stat line would have looked even worse.

He'll still be a good RB1 but Bell's numbers especially in PPR will be on a different level than his and everybody else's.

It does look like he's played two soft defenses so far, but the Chiefs should be good against the run this year. It's not out of the question that week 1 vs SD will be an outlier for them. I agree though the Bears are average at best.

I hate the YPC stat. It's extremely inflated/deflated due to big plays. It really says little about how a guy is running the ball. That said, so far Miller hasn't hit any big plays. We're only two weeks into the season though. If his years in MIA are any indication, that should change. With Hopkins and Fuller dominating, run lanes should open due to the respect they'll begin to garner.

As for Bell repeating his god-like ways, I'm a little hesitant on that. There's no question he's one of the most talented RBs in the league. But his injury history is alarming. With DeAngelo Williams playing at such a high level for PIT over the past 1+ seasons, it's not out of the question that they scale back Bell's workload in order to preserve him.

Like you said, you can't go wrong with either of them, but to say Bell will end up being far and away the better option may not be the case.

Read that Kenyan Drake should get a good amount of touches if Foster misses some time.

I'd also add Phillip Dorsett to that list. Donte Moncrief left yesterday's game in the first quarter and is having an MRI on his shoulder today. Dorsett would be a great option if Moncrief were to miss any time.

Yeah most leagues I'm in are 10-12 teamers with 8+ bench spots plus an IR or 2. Sucks reading these columns and only having a chance at grabbing 2 guys .

Stick with what you got. KB is emerging as a WR1 and Edelman will be a WR2 when Brady comes back. Dwayne Allen and Eifert are fine at TE.
