Outside of Oklahoma (who may just be bad) we haven't played any really good teams but this defense is one of the best I've seen there in a long long time

I wouldn't agree with firing Kelly after one bad year. Who they gonna get that's any better?...We're looking at potentially LSU, Texas and USC looking for a new coach. Notre Dame is a great program, but you don't want to compete in a market like that.

It's not really one bad year... and defense has always been a problem save that one 12-0 year where they got EVERY lucky bounce in every game until they got decapitated by Alabama.
Kelly is suffering from what a lot of people felt was the problem with LES Miles - a perceived ceiling and stubbornness to adapt.
He's also a douchebag that covered up the negligent death of a student, so he doesn't encourage any extra sympathy from fans, especially when the team is losing.

If you'd told Charlie 3 years ago he'd have an offense gaining 550 yards of offense, rushing for over 300, and turning it over once in consecutive weeks and still lose both games....
