Police report: Former Michigan CB Jourdan Lewis dragged girlfriend, grabbed her throat
According to the Ann Arbor police report detailing last week’s incident, obtained by Land of 10 through a Freedom of Information Act request, the alleged victim called police to report an assault. She told police she arrived home to find lights on in Lewis’ apartment, and that she and Lewis “got into a heated argument about the light being left on and who pays the bills.” Lewis threw two pillows and a blanket, which hit her in the face.

At that point, according to the report, Lewis went into the bedroom closet and shut the door. The alleged victim stated that Lewis was punching the door from the inside and that she went into the closet to make sure he was not causing damage.

“At some point Lewis stepped on her hair,” the police report stated, noting that the woman did not know how she ended up on the ground. The alleged victim said Lewis dragged her across the living room floor and stated that Lewis grabbed her by the neck and held her on the floor “for about three seconds.”

The woman told police she was not injured, and that Lewis left the apartment. The police called Lewis on his cell phone and located him on State Street and Granger Street, just south of Michigan’s football offices.

Lewis, according to the report, told police officers that the alleged victim “would not leave him alone about wanting an apology so he was going to leave the house.” He said he was getting dressed in the closet and was trying to hold the door shut when she forced open the door and struck him in the face. Lewis said that as he left, she grabbed his leg in an attempt to keep him from leaving.

“When asked if Lewis had grabbed (the woman’s) throat he stated that he may have grabbed it while trying to get her off him but had no intentions to hurt (her),” the police report said. “Lewis stated at no time was he trying to assault (her), he was trying to leave.”

Neither Lewis nor the alleged victim was injured, according to the report. The alleged victim had scratches on her nose and on her left hand that were photographed by police, but there were no visible marks on her neck.

The report stated that there was no property damage. It also indicated that police had previously been called to the couple’s residence for a “domestic incident” on May 5, 2015. No details were provided.

Lose all respect for the guy if he grabbed her by the throat and tossed her

If the AAC adds Wichita State and they get their football program up and running again, do they add another FB playing school to even it out at 14?

UMass?

Minus whale wait for the big 12 cast offs wth that plan rather than wait on Wichita State football lol.

Don't really see the whole point if the conference let's uconn bball dip out too

Just heard Saban's sound bite. My dude covered everything from spring camp to world politics. Bruh

"Sounds like there may not be a true H Back (thinking Harvin/Samuel where they line up both in the backfield and out wide in the slot) this year. McCall has not practiced at all with WR and no WR has been seen in the backfield yet. Many expected McCall to work out some in the slot but has not. He is the RB2."

Interesting

Steele's projected AP top 10

10. Florida

JuJu says the fact that he's getting this going at the age of 20 is a good thing. Even if he ends up in Buffalo, for example, that second contract gets here sooner and like Robert Woods, he could end up in LA next. Adoree' had a different take a bit, "growing up a Rams fan," he said -- "the St. Louis Rams." Now he gets them in his second home town. And they'd be a great destination. But not one he was focused on.

One intriguing part of the equation for Adoree' came Wednesday when he talked with Pete Carroll, "the first coach to ask me about playing both ways," he said. And he was intrigued by the thought of it after a morning of DB drills and catching punts of every kind.

He could cover before (for a safety), he now just isn't still under the delusion that he is a corner and is in a structured defense lol
