Official 2017 Knicks Offseason thread, Phil Jackson gone

i like that Rose looked to dish more. and Courtney Lee was HUGE in that third when they were creeping back.

Rose still jumps to pass, and thats where the bulk of his turnsovers occur. is it just me, or does it still look like he's trying to get back into rhythm

Aside from looking to make the pass to his teammates, yeah, he's still working to get into his rhythm.

That speed and crossover on Schorder was nasty, although Howard blocked his shot.

Def looks like Rose still trying to get a feel of things.

And his jumper has been waaay off.

Once he gets it together and continues to break down defenses with his drives, we'll really be a problem.

I just want to see us compete every game.

Learn the system Horny & Phil are trying to implement and execute.

If we can do that, we can win 45+ games , gain some confidence and maybe make it the second round.

Take that core into next season, scrape away the fat, draft well and bring in more quality FAs in the offseason....we'll have put ourselves in the best position to compete with the Cavs.

Rose's jumper has been bad...I am more concerned with his finishing around the rim.

He's never been that great with the J, but once upon a time he was reliable around the basket and I think he can get that back.

His average probably goes up 5 points with increased efficiency in the paint alone :lol

I know some of you think we won today because of Melo but it was definitely a Team win.

Melo played very well today. Very efficient. Had a couple of those elite level assists that he tends to have her and there.

Still washed in the sense that he still leans on the jump shot more then anything.

I will always give him praise when he plays well and has a good game, but compared to the other "superstars" he's become an easier guard than he's been in the past.

But when his shot is falling he's trouble.

KOQ played very well also. Strong start. Helped us get into a rhythm and build the lead.

Generally, it's just a matter if he has his legs under him. If he doesn't, the shot has no arc. Very flat and falls short.

Good win today but dunno what to make of the Knicks. Kinda remind me of last year's Bulls where they look really good at times and look like crap other times. Bulls last yr showed a lot of promise but never put it together...

Only time will tell if Knicks can go where the Bulls didn't.

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Archie Goodwin.

Originally signed by New Orleans on Nov. 7, Goodwin, 6-5, 205, appeared in three games for the Pelicans, averaging 5.0 points in 10.0 minutes per contest.

Goodwin was signed to give the Pelicans depth in the backcourt before Jrue Holiday returned.

Wassup Knicks come on

This team is gonna be good. We have the pieces. It takes time. This isn't for cry babies or people who expect instant gratification.
