LOL at thinking Wade is making a difference in 2017 against the Warriors. Literally the only way that CLE even has a punchers chance is if BOTH KD and Steph end up out for the Finals series, none of these semi-washed to washed up dudes are making a difference.

Bron is most likely still gone anyway, they have a franchise to run after he leaves, there's nothing wrong with going with a rebuild, they would have enjoyed the most sustained success in their franchise history and could get that next potential stud that will eventually make them relevant again for another decade. None of that is worth a pseudo competing effort in a ploy to entice Bron when all the smoke says he's gone anyway.

I like this Pistons team, mainly for the possibility of seeing Bradley and Johnson be the starting wings and bringing back a gritty Detroit team... As terrible as they may be offensively

Drummond/Jackson's on the clock and their bench is terrible outside of possibly Leuer tho

Kcp had an injury that seemed to affect him the second half of the season. Played a lot better before then. I'm just going off stats, I don't hate myself enough to watch pistons games. No offense to the homie freezy

:rollin

I unfortunately feel you tho :emoji_disappointed:

These are for the entire 2016-17 season (regular season and playoffs combined)

Stat With LeBron on the court Without LeBron
With Without

Kyrie Pts/100 p 31.8 49.3
Kyrie USG 26.8 41.8
Kyrie TS% 57.7 % 58.3 %
Kyrie PPP 1.17 1.18
Cavs ORtg 119.6 106.7
Cavs TS% 60.1 % 54.2 %
Kyrie TO/100 p 3.1 5.0
Kyrie Ast/100 p 7.7 8.9
Kyrie Reb/100 p 4.1 5.2

Biggest thing I see is that the Cavs offense falls off a cliff with Myrie and no Bron.

Don't know if that's a testament to Bron's greatness or Myrie not being able to run a team.

From Reddit

The problem is that you have people that are blinded by their hate for LeBron and are therefore delusional when it comes to admitting that Kyrie really isn't that good. You can see it in all types of evidence:

1. In the seasons when Kyrie led the Cavs before LeBron returned
2. In the games LeBron missed over the last 3 seasons (4-23 record, 0-8 last season)
3. In the games LeBron plays and the clear difference in team's production when he's on and off the court

They love to use the "Kyrie is clutch" argument, and he indeed hit plenty of big shots. But guess what, so has Carmelo:

And just look at everything all that clutchness has brought him throughout this career. The truth about Kyrie is that he's nothing but a PG version of Carmelo. And these Kyrie-led Celtics will be about as good as the Nuggets were when Carmelo was there.

I'd like to see what Boogie and Bron could do together, if Pels aren't in the playoff picture by deadline I could see them looking to somebody like Kevin Love

Lebron helps yes.
But Kyries buckets were coming on ISO.
Efficiency would be his more than "from Lebron" right....

while i absolutely agree with you, when i tried to explain this same concept to bron fans, they tell me nah, kyrie buckets come from bron, even if they arent assisted.

This washed up Wade will make way more of a difference than J.R./Shumpert made in any of these 3 finals. The SG position has been their weak link. That and a true rim protecting center, both of which they can fix.

Bron might not leave if the Cavs win the championship, but he's 110% gone if they don't.

LOL @ "potential" stud. In other words they might end up with the next Anthony Bennett as well. Or they could trade the pick for an established player that we know for sure isn't a bust. And besides, next year's draft doesn't look to be one of the stronger ones anyway.

Still think we make a deal this season at the deadline if it goes south fast......Andre probably.

I would have BEEN traded that man. You guys are in Pacers territory from last year basically. You have enough decent players that you could maybe get the last seed in the playoffs but there's zero potential for improvement past that on the team. Drummond and Reggie Jackson need to be moved and that squad needs to start fresh.

wade will not bring anything to the cavs. he can't gaurd a chair or hit the side of a barn. unfortunately i watched almost every bulls game last season and he had nothing left in the tank by the playoffs.

Yeah, leaning that way too. Let see how the first 2 months go. I think by Feb they are moved. Full Rebuild coming.

Next year's draft is top heavy right now. Cle should trade that pick and frye for a center or foward that can get rebounds. Boogie would be a primary choice.

I ain't never seen Kyrie do anything in the playoffs, even step on a court with a "NBA Playoffs" logo on it before LeBron returned to Cleveland.

Cavs record in the 27 games LeBron missed over the last 3 seasons: 4-23
Cavs record in the 7 games Kyrie and Love missed in the 2015 playoffs, against the 60 win Atlanta Hawks and 67 win Golden State Warriors: 4-3

Crowder would be a much more important addition to the Cavs than anything Wade could bring. Far better 3pt shooter and a bigger, better defender.

That's easy to say but it can only open UP the opportunity, Kyrie had to make those shots.

See KD/Russ vs the same team but instead of down 3-1 they were up 3-1. They were as ISO heavy and blew the 3-1 lead against the same team Kyrie overcame a 3-1 deficit, to win it ALL, think about that.

Russ didn't have Lebron but he had KD( the guy folks now say is best in the World only a season later) and KD opened up those ISO, Russ opened up those KD ISO, but you have to execute the ISO, neither Russ or KD could, Kyrie did.

Lebron helps, as I said...but you have to give most of that credit to Kyrie.

You do realize that Kyrie was 19-21 years of age during that time and was surrounded by pretty much zero talent, correct?
