Love the Kyrie hate.

I'm doubling down on Kyrie this season. Always loved his game but couldn't root for him since he was teammates with LeBum

no more 2? come on son.

why he jocking Klay b? :{

Don't really understand the people in here saying Boston lost their identity. Their defense was above average last year but wasn't as good as the year before. With the moves they made, they actually have significantly more defensive versatility now than they did last year. Jaylen Brown is going to be very good defensively. Marcus Smart is already very good defensively and will no longer have to guard 3s and 4s like he was last year, and Rozier is a good defender as well.

Marcus needs to start hitting the 3 ball with more consistency.
That's not happening. He can run the 2nd unit very well though, plays great defense, and is kind of that Iguodala utility type player for the team. Needs to improve his shot selection.

When you have so few players returning it's not unfair to say they will have to re find their identity imo on both offense and defense. Chemistry will need to be developed

Brown and rozier weren't even starters so their roles will be changing even still

A lot of people believe in Brown. 6'7" elite athlete with a strong body and high bball IQ. Jumper has good form and he plays hard. Obviously has things he needs to tighten up, but he's 20 years old.

Team didn't miss a beat when Bradley was hurt and Brown filled in for him as starter.
Was he the one that said he didnt fear bron?

while i absolutely agree with you, when i tried to explain this same concept to bron fans, they tell me nah, kyrie buckets come from bron, even if they arent assisted.

k.
It helps.
That is all.
Folks said Westbrook buckets came from KD.
Then he went and won MVP without KD.
I'm ready for an already Champion Kyrie that is Bronless, myself.

kyrie is a talented score, but he is quickly going to realize how easy he had it and great situation he was in with lebron.
then again, he probably saw the writing on the wall with bron leaving

He matured while playing alongside Lebron.
The last thing Kyrie cares or is worried about is how easy he won't have it anymore.
He may miss that brotherhood, but he won't miss the "Is Lebron like a father figure to you" questions.

3/4 of that roster his last year before Lebron is out of the league.

What a coincidence: You could say the exact same thing about the 2008-09 and 2009-10 Cavaliers that LeBron led to 66 and 61 win seasons.

And it's not so much that Kyrie missed the playoffs those years. It's more that he wasn't even close to making the playoffs. The Cavs needed 5 wins just to be 9th seed the season before LeBron returned.

You do realize that Kyrie was 19-21 years of age during that time and was surrounded by pretty much zero talent, correct?

You do realize that LeBron made the playoffs at the age of 21, right? Quite comfortably. Won 50 games actually.
He missed the playoffs the season before on a tie-breaker to the New Jersey Nets, despite having leading the Cavs to a over .500 42 win season.
Meanwhile, the highest amount of wins Kyrie managed to assemble in the 3 seasons he played before LeBron was 33. Even a 18-19 year-old straight out of high school LeBron who skipped an entire collegiate level of basketball managed to lead the Cavs to 35 wins, more than doubling their 17 wins from the previous season.

Lol @ these Cavs fans trying to smear Kyrie's name when they were just praising him a year ago

Just be happy you guys got parts to contend even if LeBron leaves after next season

I think Gilbert will trade the pick to win now. You win this year you have a better chance of keeping Lebron then ultimately losing and resting your franchise on a draft pick. Besides Zion Williamson the draft class might be buns and even then I don't know how well Zion will translate to the league. Get Lebron a second championship in Cleveland and he still leaves you then you know you did everything you could and the pressure is on Lebron to explain why he's ring chasing even though he's a generational player.

win what? there's nobody they can add right now thats beating gsw. they have 2 of the top 3 players. 4 of the top 12-15. That pick wont net anybody that can beat that. cavs aint winning nothing. They better put some respeck on kyrie name. Bron helped him...he DEFINITELY helped bron. His scoring prowess allowed bron to half *** so many nights during the season and just facilitate. The numbers will show that Ree and Zeke are identical. That's a mirage. Kyrie is a different kind of animal when the game is on the line man. Iso Kyrie is something of legend. Bron WILL miss that. As good as Zeke is, he's not putting fear in anybody. idk if it is his stature or what, but defenses just arent shook when he's locked in compared to when kyrie is. Ree is unguardable when he's in kill mode.
